National Hunt Chase (4 miler) 2019

I've always liked this race but since the upgrade to G2 it has got classier each year, another cracking renewal set for this year...

Exactly the Same last year with dounikos who was a short fav. And like wise every year, marinero short price, roi des francs who was also fav. Don poli..... wounded warrior was fav. All sub 10/1 trainer wanted to go and refused to let them run.

They've a live chance in gun digger and could throw in blow by blow. Graded horses they want in the grade 1s.

blow by blow is a wild card for sure.

Jessica confirms Whisperinthebreeze runs here-

He doesn’t get into the Handicaps, neither the Kim Muir nor the Close Brothers as he’s rated 146 in England. He won really well in Leopardstown the other day and he’ll run in the four-mile race. He will like good ground – the better the ground the better he’ll like i

DiscoRama 12’a anyrace with 365....double the price of the same horse in this race, decent bet if you’re sure he goes here

Be some scene when after all these many pages of discussion Blow By Blow goes and wins it

Will they run 3 in it?

BBB, Gundigger - NHC
DW, CC - RSA
Mortal, MK - JLT

....Preview Evenings suggest Mortal is RSA bound.

Was it Eddie O'Leary who said said Rachael rides him in JLT? Blake said RSA.

The owners call the shots not Kevin Blake the glorified blogger.

If it was decision made he wouldn't still be in the National Hunt Chase. I think that's where O'Brien knows he should be running. Single figures for that race (far shorter than the other Gigginstown entries) and a million for the other two races. It doesn't take a lot of thinking about if the idea is to actually win a race at the Festival.

O'Brien should be on the Betfair preview tonight. Hopefully, he will finally clear this up.

Elliott put up Champagne Classic as his best each way bet of the festival for the 4 miler yet they have put him in the RSA. Giggi decide not O'Brien.

JLT:
Eddie: Says that Mengli Khan runs here as does Mortal but he likes Defi Du Seuil. Also says that if Articulum turns up here on soft ground, it has a huge each way chance.

Rachael: Rides Mortal here. she says he neds a quiet ride and has a great each way shout at a big price but likes Defi Du Seuil

Noel: Likes Defi Du Seuil

Joseph: Says that Mortal runs here with an each way shout but he likes Defi Du Seuil as well.

Above is from mullingar preview.

Jockey, owner and trainer all aboard the JLT train.
It could change though if one of the others isn't right.
Looks to me like Joseph wanted Mortal in the 4 miler, and Gordon wanted Champagne classic in four miler.

And the O'learys have stuck two fingers up and are only willing to run their lower ranked horses in the four miler.
They are stupid of course as the four miler is becoming a good foundation for top class staying chasers.

Mortal, I'd imagine has been left in, just in case they change their minds or one of the others isn't ready to run.
