First meeting of this year's carnival starts tomorrow

Look to be a few good races

Will post some bets once all firms start pricing them up

4:15 meydan

Zakouski 4/1 1pt win

fav military march has a very wide draw and a very long lay off to overcome, id also be thinking he needs further. Zakouski looks the value against him.

4:50 meydan

Capezzano 7/2 1pt win

Traditionally always comes on heaps for the run and if he does should take all the beating here

5:25 meydan

D'bai 4/1 1pt win NAP

Finished third behind glorious journey last season but suffered a seriously troubled passage and looked a very unlucky loser. Buick has chosen glorious journey but at the prices doyles mount has to be the bet. He has also won twice at the opening meeting of the carnival before.

I'd never seen the 6th Godolphin cap until I looked at the 15:05 tomorrow either :mask:


Surprised Faugheen_Machine hasn't got a Sky Pirate double on with Bless Him in the 16:15



Little Caspian King gone over as well in the 18:00 - hope he runs well :)

I wasnt happy at all with the ride buick gave him in the Newbury race

He couldn't have found more trouble if he tried

Lazuli looks the one in the last to me but too short for a single so just had a small double to try to get a bit more on minella indo for the gold cup

Desert fire beat Walton Street off levels on his last start

Has to give the fav 2lb today but shouldn’t be as big a difference in the prices as there is

Seems a solid e/w bet with frankie jocked up
 
Forgot the golden rule, never back frankie e/w in a handicap

He didnt ride hard to the line and gets done on the line to finish 5th

And have had space blues for the al quoz to try and get a double rolling on to campanelle in the Commonwealth cup
 
I really like Walton Street in the 4:10 at the Godolphin benefit meeting. Seems to be improving with age.

I have also backed Global Heat in the same race as Spanish Mission. He finished really well last time and the fav doesnt look the strongest.

These meydan meetings are usually good for a godolphin forecast also but its looking tricky today, still one opportunity I like is in the 12:50
