Many thanks to @Hurricane fly, a lot of thought went into his selections and he clearly looked at the comments of others across the site. If that one goes in :cool:

So we move onto May under the direction of @ComplyOrDie, be interesting what his approach is given @Quevega March steer and @Hurricane fly selections. We have the final festival of the season at Punchestown to inform discussion and maybe tease out or confirm a few suggestions.

It would be really appreciated to line up volunteers for future months. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been here for a while, a newbie, captained one previously or somebody who rarely posts, just step forward and volunteer in this thread. The more volunteers we get, the merrier 🙏🙏🙏

I'll have a go at one, November would be my preference, as things have stepped up and I'm starting to take more of an interest.

….November is yours, Dan. Cheers.

Anybody for June and July?

…..King Rasko Grey has a few entries at Punchestown, might be a consideration for May. Be interesting what that Arkle price is in a few weeks.

These were the comments after the Turners

I said after the race at the Dublin Racing Festival, that King Rasko Grey had stepped forward. Paul [Townend] went for him straightaway. We had been thinking about him for the Supreme all season, and when we decided not to go for that, to me, this one was head and shoulders above all the other horses here [in this race]. We just got down to seriously working him after the DRF, and I thought that run was huge, when you consider the horses that first and second for the Supreme Novices' yesterday, I thought that as long as this horse stayed well - and I thought he would say - he was a huge price. I thought he could be a Champion Hurdle type - I don't know whether he is or not, but he is by Galiway and I am sure he will jump a fence, he jumps very well, but I will look at his Champion Hurdle credentials - Willie Mullins, trainer.

I love King Rasko Grey. I came in and said to Willie [Mullins] after Leopardstown last time, 'I can't believe he finished third'. But it made a man of him that day. He's still a little babyish, but it brought him on a lot. He's a very exciting horse - Paul Townend, jockey.

They'll need a back up to Lossiemouth but I'd be surprised if it was KRG
