Just goes to show about Samcro for those who said he would have beaten Fakir easily last time. Cruising up then finds diddly squat. Cannot keep making excuses for him, that was poor. Faugheen much the better horse on the day.

He was beaten by a better horse fair and square today.
Fakir is no faugheen. No excuses at all.

At the risk of making more excuses for the horse ........ he was never going. Almost stopped to a stand still at the finish. It was just a very strange run IMP. Wouldn’t give up hope yet on SAMCRO and I certainly don’t think it’s anything to do with him being a bridle horse. Some very strange runs from a lot of horses today and that’s not me talking with my pocket. Possible ground conditions played a part.

I just don’t think it’s a coincidence that a lot of very good horses have ran stinkers today. Just an opinion and I’m not saying I’m right, all I’m saying is it was a strange days racing today. Spring ground is a completely different game
 
Specifically on Samcro, I'm hoping to hold on for a bit. Not writing him off but I'm disappointed. I thought he'd win easily today.

Your saying he’s a bridal horse because he never found anything when push come to shove. I’m saying he was never going upto that point and neither were any of the others in that list. What don’t you understand ?

A lot of very good horses ran great races today too though? There is no substance to your claim... is just coincidence
