I'm also pretty certain they did back track after the above. With Kabral going for the Arkle I don't see them throwing Mydaddypaddy at it as well next year. I thought Kabral may have been their CH horse but looks like the two could switcheroo.

Yeah they definitely said hurdles afterwards hence me thinking they popped him over few fences and didnt impress

Yep. Just watched race back. SR was left last at standing start. Came from an impossible position. 33's General (40/1 Unibet). Dan does potentially have TNL for the Stayers as well of course.

Dan did say he'd go up to 3miles,but up 16lbs since the Turners, so may aim higher. With Harry C in line for The New Lion ride, Harry S could still have a Stayers horse if he proves up to the task.
