July ‘25 Yankee

Not strictly Yankee related, but I think the turners was a very deep race this year. Think also supreme winner a top horse.
I’ve just done
TYC stayers
TNL champ hurdle
Final demand BANC
Kopek des Bordes arkle
In a top novice yankee

…..sound like you’ve been volunteered Ista, maybe we can line Dan up for the following month. Is that ok?
Happy to do it though getting other/newer members involved would be the preference.
These quiet months are easier because there's less debate and disagreement which is a perfect time to bring in some young blood, but if there are no other takers I'll have a go, just don't expect to see any novice hurdlers...

….cheers, Fella, much appreciated (plenty of months for others to volunteer but we now have the next two sorted).

It’s your’s to manage, so ‘no novice hurdlers’ is fine.

Think it will be a bit ropey to rely on the trends for the Novice Chases for the next year or two until the JLT/Turners being removed is factored in. Horses who would have gone there(with a chance) now will be shunted into the Arkle or BANC

Nothing concrete, but with good health/fitness I’d like us to have 4 runners come March so my preference is for reducing risk by picking horses with near certain targets.
That likely means we’re looking at Chanpionship races and maybe a novice chaser or two ?
The changes to the 20f novice race should help identify Arkle and BANC horses.
I’ll leave the ultra creative picks to judges like @Saxon Warrior
