January ‘25 Yankee

Problem with Salvator is he's very likely to run this month, so his price is likely much shorter or we'll be glad to not have him anyway.

Good point that, my shortlist is looking shorter already !:biggrin-new:

Good point. Does it have to be done at the end of the month?

Could be the first yankee put up before the month before is up ! :biggrin-new:

Tough gig this month, what with a fair few prices contracting from the Christmas periods racing, and the racing in January where prices could disappear before month end, when the yankee is put up.

The one problem with Salvator Mundi is he is probably one for the Moscow Flyer in the middle of January. He needed to be in one before now. Unless the yankee goes up before the MF just to get Salvator in?

The Jukebox Man, Better Days Ahead & Croke Park have all just contested decent enough trials for the BANC. I'd be looking at one of them. Personal preference is for Better Days Ahead (16/1), with course winning form and a performance against Croke Park that suggested 'the hill' will suit him, not to mention Gordon's words after the race. He won't run again until the DRF I imagine.

With the uncertainty of what is going to happen with Lossiemouth & Brighterdaysahead I'd say July Flower could be worth a shot too. 12's generally but up to 20's still on show. Again, she's not going to run in January either, as she could well go straight there and Henry has a good recent record in the race.

One I like for the Mares Novice is Kientzheim, we haven't seen the fav yet.

Think it’s time we got Ballyburn in one now he’s going up in trip. Ballyburn banc would be my selection

I like all three of the banc horses, only got croke park backed as a single and the jukebox man on a couple of my own lucky 15's.

I like this as well, I've got a shortlist of four just for the banc now !

Fact To File for the Ryanair.

If he turns up he wins it, doesn't he?
