Is Belardo worth an each way punt?

I think Gleneagles will be hard to beat in the Irish 2000 Guineas but I'm going to have an ew tickle on Belardo, at around 14/1 he looks to be in with a decent chance of a place at least, so with nothing else floating my boat I thought I'd go with this one for a bit of interest. I've had a small interest on Rawaki too.

I make him one of 4 or 5 to chnace each way against the fav.
I agree the fav wins but at 4/11 he's unbackable for most, I've sided with the bottom one, Tombelaine at 18s, bit if a flyer but but he may improve again.

Belardo has something to prove after his flop last time but the fact he's truned out again fairly quickly suggests they can't find anything wrong and he's working OK at home, at around 14s he's a decent price but you have to remove the win element so maybe 3.1 place is better value ?

I think the ground was too quick on his seasonal debut so I've gone with the ew in case he can repeat his Dewhurst form of last season. The ground is drying out at the Curragh all the time though so may be on the quick side for Belardo again, Pat Smullen seems to have high hopes of a place for Tombelaine though Isti so good luck with yours
