Does anyone remember the prices for this years festival after last years? These prices showing for next year look awful.

Just seen that SkyBet have opened up a fair few markets in the last hour.
Champion Bumper - The two CP horse's that want to Wille's have been priced up. I've been waiting for this for ages but 20/1 for both of them is a bit skinny, but what can you expect with them winning the last 3 years. I want to hold off and see if anyone else put better prices out there, but can see these being shortened quite quickly
Mares Chase - No standout odds here
Classic Getaway 25/1 and Grangeclare West 33/1 just priced up at William Hill. Tempted to take those.

If you stuck a tenner on the top 5 in each of the above markets this time last year then you'd have invested 600 quid and you would have walked away with just over a grand, and that's with completely whiffing 5/10 races. I'm not suggest that's an advisable strategy, I just saying that when people say there is no value now, they are wrong, basically.
The only bet I have made so far is Gaillard Du Mesnil. I think he's a good ante post bet @ 27/1 with Hills. He handled Cheltenham and just run into an exceptional horse in BO who did him for speed. It's clear he wants fences and a bit further, and that he has oodles of class. He's a big money purchase for JD, trained by Willie Mullins, second in a Ballymore, exceptionally bred, he just ticks so many RSA boxes, even at this very early stage.
I would think with the form shown at the festival ferny hollow would have to have a shout at the arkle just has to come back sound
Pure Genius runs at 2:45 today at Downpatrick, currently favourite in the race. He is currently 100/1 for the NHC with WH and Unibet.
I'll highlight a post if I can by Saxon Warrior back in Feb stating that Ted Walsh had earmarked the 2022 NHC for him.
Just one to keep on the radar today

Willie mentioning the CC for Alaho has tempted me in to a related double: Alaho - Champion Chase and Energumene - Ryanair. 1pt at 188/1 (Hills).
Despite what Willie said in his interview can anyone really see allaho going down the 2 mile route?
