Handicap Shortlist - Cheltenham 2020

He's entered in the Leinster National, so possible nowhere at all.

Gordon gave it as his Kim Muir charity bet at a preview if it went there (on the racing UK podcast)

...a few interviews on Sporting Life website this morning. Dave Ord asked the lead handicappers where they think the cut-off might be for each handicap;

Ultima - possibly 142
Plate - 140 should get in.
Northern Trust - 140 will ensure it gets in.
Kim Muir - 135 and above.
Coral - 137 to get in.
Boodles - 130
Pertemps - 135
County - 132
Pipe - 135
Grand Annual - 138 to 140.

At 4 days stage

Ultima - 143 so 142 looks good possibly lower
Plate - 144 currently a lot to come out if 140 is the number
Northern Trust - 139 bottom at the minute ( only 1 of 6 with this rating currently in so probably bottom)
Kim Muir - currently 138 - 135 looks a bit low
Coral - Currently 142 - I think even 140 looks tight
Boodles - 130 - currently may go lower
Pertemps - 135 - currently may fo lower
County - 132 ( looks low)
Pipe - 135
Grand Annual - 138

..I just revisited that post myself having backed Belami Des Pictons (140) for the plate.

I quoted Nigel Hawke yesterday discussing Repetitio and saying he’s taken a risk not running it to keep its mark low. Bit of a quandary, nervous few days for trainers, owners and punters.
