Watching the race I can see why people like him. Consistent and straight over the fences until the jockey nearly put him through the hedge in the back straight and then spooked him by nearly taking him through the wings of the fence he unseated. I'd lay the blame on the jockey. Nice juvenile for sure. Thanks.
 
“You will probably not see Brighterdaysahead until Christmas, she got a little haematoma on her sternum and she must have got a fright and banged it on her door or something.
“We had to drain that and missed a couple of weeks with her. It’s nothing serious but it just means it will probably be Christmas before she starts.
“I think she’s a better horse in the second half of the season anyway.”

Has she been withdrawn today ? She is still down to run and in fact I took a wtaf out on her!
 
Was thinking about these horses being pulled because of the ground and this made me think about the good old days ....

Champion Hurdler Night Nurse, won his first race over hurdles at Market Rasen on ground officially given as FIRM or as his trainer Peter Easterby described it " like a road "Ran 64 times and won 19 times over hurdles and 13 over fences. ( Also won 3 on the flat ) Dont think trainer or owner ever worried about the ground or over racing him.
