A bit under the radar screen but Sean Bowen rode his 200th winner of the season at Ffos Las today. Is AP's record under threat with 2 months of the season left to go?
I think not. McCoy was in an era when they could do 2 meetings a day plus he had a lot of Pipe horses who were sent out like machines. That said I think Bowen the better of the two.

Gordon to Ben Pauling at the Tattersalls Cheltenham Preview evening:

“You take on Willie Mullins three times a year and cry about it. We have to take him on every day of the week!” :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I thought Adele and particularly Megan were excellent on the Southwell coverage last night. Megan has decent opinions, asks the right questions and queries the stock/safe answers that others were giving her. There was a situation of suspected cheating last year, I can’t recall precisely what, that she called out whilst the rest were sat firmly on the fence.

She is proving to be the one on the ITV panel whose opinion I’m most interested to hear.

I agree.
She has just enough spike about her and hopefully continues in that vein.
Far too many are soft soapers.

I dunno about Adele, she said Golden Ace was a great price for the champion hurdle last night. I had to turn it off for 5 minutes.

She will be if she wins again. If you look at the race without both Lossie and CH then factor in BDA not being at her best around Cheltenham then you can see where she is coming from.

That's the issue though isn't it? If one of them do run you'll get double figures on the day. If none of them run I'm sure you'd still get on close to her current odds. I don't see much upside to backing her now at all.

Agree, wouldn't touch her myself but she's done all of us the last two years.

For lovers of sloppy journalism - the BBC has an article on the kidnapping of Shergar, in which they report that the Aga Khan's colt won the King George VI Chase :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: https://www.bbc.com/culture/article...-kidnapping-of-shergar-the-champion-racehorse
'Further victories in the Irish Derby and the King George VI Chase confirmed Shergar's status as a global racing superstar.' - They've probably just got this from AI. And it's still up there 5 days after being posted.

The Beeb just don't do racing anymore, do they? Do they even care?

Apparently the journalist is one of their culture reporters.

Nope I’m going to have to chase them again but you need to have a few hours spare while they run through their tests!

FWIW I disconnected WiFi and went to mobile data and they cashed out fine.

Maybe give this a go (y)
