Just wondering if anyone takes breeding into consideration when trying to narrow down selections and if so how far do you go back.
A few examples I've come across are in the Ultma Whistle Stop Tours dam sire is Presenting who is 0-10 and Henry's Friend's dam sire is Milan who is 0-12.
Ballyburn's dam sire is Old Vic who is 0-6. There are others in different races but I think you get where I'm coming from.
Would that put you off ?

I think I've been doing antepost now for about 10 years or so, but consistently at this sort of level for the last 8 I reckon.

So I imagine at some point I found this site, then realised it was full of wankers and idiots showing off - But, with really useful information and some nice and funny people sprinkled within.
So I set about trying to weed some of the wankers out, so I could be the biggest wanker of them all.

Hardly any wankers these days compared to when I first joined that's for sure. (notice I've not mentioned idiots) :devilish::love_heart:
There were cocks and bollocks everywhere in the first few years.

A lot more genteel these days.

I don’t think it’d take too much to be like WWF here , drop a few aftertimes and fudge prices/ diaries :tongue-new: sit back and watch lol. Joking aside I like it here, loads of advice knowledge different angles etc. It’s also nice to see people’s long range fancies come in.

That was the first year I came across this site, I’ve been betting for about 40 years and never once considered ante post betting before and I’ve been finding it equally enjoyable and frustrating

You get used to it Pisto. I am not one for just putting winners up. In book building you have to prepare yourself for about 30-40% loss before the meeting begins so have to claw both your losses and stakes back. I don't have access to cash out so others' losses could be about 20% i would imagine. That is the double edged sword we live and die on. I have just lost Croke Park today at 66/1 but still have the top 5 in the market and will cover Gorgeous Tom on the day. It's feasible that i will get the 1,2,3 in the race that wipes out the Croke Park, Chapeau De Soleil and Caldwell Potter losses. There might be 1 more but can't remember. That still gives me a healthy potential profit and can watch all the short priced runners at big(ger) prices with a smoking jacket and glass of brandy :welcoming: I made all losses back on day 1 last year then the rest was gravy so let's have it again :emmersed:
 
Is anyone having issues with 365 and not showing cash out or unavailable since the entry update?

They are just grey.

Not has a message saying I've lost cash out either, very odd.

Yes, but not to the extent of dams sires for races. Old Vic for instance, produced Kicking King, 2nd in an Arkle but a Gold Cup winner, so I wouldn't even use that against Ballyburn, who is by Flemensfirth, who produced Imperial Commander, a Ryanair and Gold Cup winner.

Presenting produced Denman, War Of Attrition, First Lieutenant and others, so again, I wouldn't hold this against Whistle Stop Tour, but he is by Saddex, a sire I'm not overly keen on, and his best to date is a 2m chaser, in Editeur Du Gute, the rest are average enough handicappers.

I prefer sires or dams sires who produce horses that are successful at Cheltenham, and my favourite is King's Theatre. Also a fan of Authorized.

I think it's easy to get wrapped up in pedigrees and over use them sometimes, I'm guilty of this, but you'll generally get at least one outlier at some point, if not more.

Thanks for getting back to me, much appreciated. Big fan of Kings Theatre myself. Have backed King Turgeon in the Ultima. Couldn't decide between a few but the sire made my mind up.

I was onto the chat representative about it and asked do I still have cash out on my account still active and he said yes but got the company line crap after that. Think there's an issue on their side.

Just wanted to share…..
Had 2 free £10 bets on the BANC with WH nrmb that are now non runners.
In my settled bets it said they had been refunded but I had not received the refunds.
Went on chat, and after a bit of time and producing bet details I managed to get the refunds as free bets.

In case it’s happening to others.

Hi Carnage at Taunton The same thing's happened to me. How did you get to speak to a human agent to resolve the issue. I can't get past the bot.

Didn’t speak to advisor, was live chat.
I explained the issue and after a while and giving the date of bet and ref number she went off to speak to someone else and then came back after 10
minutes and said the refund free bets should now be in, and they were.
Was a bit painful but was determined after it said on my settled bets I had been refunded and I had not received.

I must be going about this the wrong way!!!
When I click on the "Contact Us" page on the WH website I get a bot saying it will be able to help resolve most problems and if it can't it will refer me to a human. The trouble is I just go round in ever frustrating circles with the bot. It refuses to refer me to a human. In desperation I tried sending them an email I found on a WH website explaining the problem . But the email kept bouncing back. Do you have a specific phone number or particular way to by-pass the bot.

Seems to me they really are doing everything possible to prevent customers contacting them.

Appreciate your help CAT.
