This is just such tragic news. The Richie Forristal piece in the Racing Post is a fitting tribute to an evidently very impressive young man. The racing community in Ireland is very tight and they will rally around his family; it's just such an enormous shame. A life taken far too early RIP

In the coming days we all will all quite understandably be excited about how our bets have run but believe me Michael my fellow FJ,'s and myself would willingly chalk up every single one of our ante post bets as a loser if it meant that you could spend one more day with us. RIP Michael such a tragic loss.

Beautifully put.

The markets will probably reform to include horses not previously included in them.

Plus BFX should move to include all 12 Hcap markets which opens up betting options a bit more, for Win Only, Antepost betting.

Did anyone see confirmation for the:
NH Chase
Cross Country
Kim Muir
M Pipe ?
As handicaps I assume entries also have a deadline of tomorrow ?

All 12 tomorrow

As per Weatherbys Digital Racing Calendar

HRI usually publish the dates and conditions too

Some of these Hcaps are lower Graded races, and not all of them make the BHA Jumps Pattern Book published in November - It's a pain that they don't include them all, but they never have, even when there were only 9 hcaps they ignored the Pipe and Kim Muir as lower quality 0-145 Limited Hcaps.

Punchestown have 2 cards listed on the HRI website this week, now.

Sundays abandoned card has been put into the calendar for this coming Thursday

Punchestowns Quevega Hurdle card, looks like its moved now from Weds this week, to Friday this week.

The HRI's website makes it easier to find British Early Closing race information than the BHA and Weatherbys do, combined

The HRI Upcoming Race Conditions section for (week 24th February?) has
all 12 of the Cheltenham Festival Handicaps listed for tomorrow Early Entries, and race conditions.

Some of their closing and weights dates may be a little skewed though (Should all be 18th closing, 25th weights)

The link to those pages is here, below

Gents, when do we get the handicap adjustments from Saturday's racing? I'm particularly interested in Doddiethegreat's mark following the second in the Pertemps Qualifier.

You'd have to infer that the Wednesday meeting being moved is to allow trainers/jockeys/others to attend the funeral. Classy move that.

Classy is the word. Loved reading the Irish Racing Board post and the information about funeral arrangements. Really down to earth and as you say classy. Cannot imagine it happening here.

Not sure if this would be of interest but Hills have the following special

Brighterdaysahead and Better Days Ahead both to finish Top 3 in ANY race 5-2

Might have some juice for any fanciers

Price seems way too big to me……….even at ante post

Place odds are 1/5 (MH) and 2/1 (Browns) which equates to 2.6 to 1 as a double if Brighter goes for the Mares….and this is without losing the win stake in normal each way betting……for normal each way betting you lay 1pt each way and get back 3.6pts ie real price 4/5

Thats without the caveat that you are covered if Brighterdaysahead running in the C Hurdle

Should be 6/4 or less shouldn’t it ?
