Going to give the race a complete miss until decs as it looks really messy. Shame as we all did very well from the NHC as it was.

Yeah NHC was one we all used to mop up every season without issue, shame that won't be as easy now.

Doubt Willie will bother with it either with it being a Handicap Chase.

The race used to be dominated by the English. Think that will happen again under its new format.

Scratch that.

Entries out this week for Gold Cup, Champion Chase and Ryanair.

See if Gavins gets an entry over 3m, although looks like he's going the Kim Muir. Only needs one more run so no doubt he'll be running out the back in a beginners chase or at the DRF.

When having a look at some of the markets I noticed the horse that won at Down Royal over Xmas, Big Interest, isn't listed for the Hunter Chase by the bookies. Don't really follow or know too much about that sphere but is there a reason why he's not, didn't know if it's an age thing etc with him being young?

Definitely not too young for the race at age 6.
But you do have to have ran and won/placed in Hunters and points a certain number of times.
More likely the trainer thinks he's too young. He just loves waiting for next year that never comes.

Has anyone got bets with 365 where there's no cash out present and it also doesn't say suspended?

It's just completely blank.

They aren't dead bets either, it's odd.

I really liked HAITI COULEURS win last time out at Cheltenham.
He seems to have a few options for March with National Hunt Chase, Ultima or Browns Advisory being options after some reading up.

Question - does anybody know his Cheltenham target ?
Ta

Trainer mentioned NHC or Browns I believe after his latest win. No mention of handicaps from what I recall but I’m going from memory here and I was transfixed by her lips tbh.

Sequestered :- has anyone got this horse on their radar? Trained by Gilligan. Ran in the Martin Pipe last year so has festival experience. Has had 4 runs as a novice chaser so I think qualifies for hvps. Won impressively last time off 125 to get RPR if 141 by 10l in a 3m hcp ch ‘sauntering clear on long run to home’ Leop. He is not listed in betting for NH Ch or any of the other hvps as yet.
