Le Divin En Fant could throw his hat into the ring as could Love Me Tender but I think the latter and the big 2 today are 2m 4f horses at least. Mister pessimistic is the one I will be watching. His form has worked out nicely and he is slipping under the radar.

Also thought Bertutea ran a very nice race. Already have him backed but he is still a canny price for the Triumph with improvement to come a la Narciso Has

Some wobble that. I've watched it back a few times. He got in tight but came up from the back of the hurdle ok. The only explanation I can come up with is that he stepped into a deep hoof hole in the grass.
Crazy how he's Supreme fav after falling. Says it all really where we are this season. No one has a clue re the Novices!

My take is that 4/1 is a very good price as think he will be nearer evens or odds on, on the day. All the horses near him in the betting won't be running in the Ryanair, imo, with only the likes of Djelo, Found A Fifty, and Heartwood who might turn up, are at decent EW prices but nowhere near the level of FTF at Cheltenham and over 2.4f. 4/1 also gives me a chance to lay off for a bet to nothing.
Yeah I can see what you are saying and it may pan out that way with lack of opposition and him turning up in the form of last seasons race.
In that scenario then 4/1 I can see the attraction.
For me I would rather leave the race alone for now, and if it does pan out that way back something e/w or not bother with the race.
Plenty of time to think about it all.

Twitter tipsters. Pfffffft

All crawling around for excuses and will be on their YouTube channels screaming about why their horses didn't win. Just spent 2 minutes scrolling down and all doing the same thing.

Meanwhile, your main man lands 17 winners, 6 places and a 25/1 Jukebox from 34 bets.

Blowing my own trumpet, fuck yeah

Anyone wanna lend a fiver?
Well done mate. I was on TJB too at similar prices. Had GW and Jango covered, but did almost die when banbridge rocked up. Cracking race 🎉🎉

How's everyone's festival books looking after today? I spoke to someone in private chat yesterday and mentioned I was going to head down to Ladbrokes to get a fair bet on Narciso Has because I thought he would improve a ton. I didn't  too busy ferrying around until the race day started. Twas ever thus. That's the only real blot I got today. Can Arcadian Emperor be as bad as the rest of them? Now is the time to get a few more added. Waiting for bob Olinger to get beat so I can add him, same with Marine Nationale (dodgy) Djelo is now one for the ryanair book, and probably July Flower in the Arkle. Someone has to finish 3rd  I will let her and Kargese fight that one out. Looking as though the book will be complete next week and then it's handicaps all the way. Adding tomorrow - Anzadam, Kargese, Maestro Conti and Arcadian Emperor. That will just leave a few staggered around random races. A lot more information to come in the next few days and then the DRF to be the final info. We aren't far away,in 3 months the festival starts, 3 months ago was the Charlie Hall 😳

Ground at Leopardstown will really suit Bob , Kargese and Marine . No excuses if beat.

Looks like the fore and aft shoes hooked each other on the replay? I can only remember that happening once in recent past. Very unlucky if so, and glad to hear he’s up and about.

….Mullins has pulled Mighty Park from the first race today.

Hello all, I wondered if anyone has any advice or wisdom to offer me regarding an account I’m about to lose…… I have some money with 888 which they stopped me withdrawing and have said because it is now linked to my closed William hill account I will need to provide source of income which I’m not doing.
My question is if I just say I’m happy for my account to be closed down just send me my money back can they legally refuse?
It’s been going on for over a week now, I didn’t realise 888 and Willy hill were the same company, trying to phone, email or live chat is honestly like pulling teeth!!

Bud Fox has become quite an expensive horse to follow hasn't he

Sounds like something to ask chatgpt, otherwise you'd have to go through 888 terms and conditions. I can't imagine they're legally allowed to keep your money solely because you'd rather not provide sensitive private info, as that doesn't sound like breaking a rule to me, but I dont really know.

He has for me. Backed him first time, though gave him the excuse of the wet ground. Backed him for the champion bump before todays similarly uninspiring run.

Looking forward to the Naas entries this weekend. Not just the lawlors, but also the 2m maiden hurdle and the 2m novice chase.

After a successful festive period, Nicky Henderson is mulling over possible routes to the Cheltenham Festival with some of his Seven Barrows aces.

A December which started with Lulamba scooping top honours at Sandown then saw Impose Toi’s Long Walk Hurdle success prove the perfect precursor to Sir Gino’s dazzling return in the Christmas Hurdle and Jango Baie announcing himself as a Gold Cup candidate when fourth in the King George.

Henderson suggested it will be the “Unibet (International) Hurdle or nothing” before the Festival for Champion Hurdle favourite Sir Gino, but Trials day could also be the preferred option for his stablemates should the master of Seven Barrows decide for one more outing before Presbury Park’s showpiece event in the spring.

After also being a keen observer of the action in Ireland, Henderson said: “None of them have to run again and for Jango Baie it could be the Cotswold Chase or maybe the Denman Chase. Jango Baie is remarkably fresh and they are all fresh and well.

“We can all form our own opinions from watching (the racing in Ireland) but the Gold Cup is our intention with Jango Baie and we know our intention with Sir Gino – we know roughly where they are going.

“The Stayers’ Hurdle is also interesting from Impose Toi’s point of view and we’ve a good few bullets to fire, but we have to concentrate on what we’re doing rather than worrying about the others.

“Impose Toi, does he need to run again? He’s so lazy at home you would say ‘yeah, he could do’ and there is only really one race for him (the Cleeve). But we’ve a lot of options.

“I think we’re starting to know where our ducks are lining up and I always say by January 1 you should know what your squad for Cheltenham is beginning to look like and you have to say ‘OK, it looks quite solid’.”

While running plans for his elders may be up in the air, one member of the Lambourn string guaranteed for another outing before his anticipated clash with the likes of Kopek Des Bordes in the Arkle is impressive Henry VIII scorer Lulamba.

He is set for an appearance on February 7 with Warwick’s Kingmaker Novices’ Chase currently shading preference over a step into open company for the Game Spirit at Newbury on the same afternoon.

Henderson said: “Lulamba could run tomorrow he’s that fresh. He does need to run again and it will be Warwick or Newbury, but the Kingmaker looks the obvious one for him.

The Lambourn great is also resisting the temptation to move up in trip with Jonbon, who will head to Ascot on January 17 to defend his Clarence House Chase crown.

Henderson said: “Jonbon will go to the Clarence House. JP (McManus, owner) is very keen and he’s in great form.

“What’s Willie going to do? But we know what we’ll do and we’re going Clarence House.”

Getting to that stage now. Just been searching for the forfeit dates but can't get hold of them. Should be starting in January. Trainers are starting to say 'straight to Cheltenham' and '1 more run then Cheltenham' it will be the DRF before we know it and the markets will be formed
