What sites still offer bet and get a free bet? Other than sly bet and Paddy?
Hills sometimes I think. Not a rewards club though, just sometimes think I remember seeing offers like "bet £5/£10 on horse racing today and get a 5/10 free bet" etc. I don't know the details though as a lot of the time I'm just rushing onto they're site to get a certain bet on before odds crash, so sometimes I forget to go back and take the offer, or just not interested in backing anything on that day.

Didnt get my free bet with paddys reward club this week. Chased them and been told my account is restricted. Asked since when and they wouldnt say, just that it was a traders decision. Said it didnt tell me when placing 5 x £5 bets last week and got offered 5 free spins on a game! Utter bollox!
My only free bets nowadays come from bet365 money back if football bet builder loses, also get same on American football but no idea on that so leave it alone.

Betfair Sports offer Bet £5 on a multiple get £5 free bet (to be used on multiple only)

Betfair Exchange offer Bet £x amount get free bet of same amount

Ladbrokes generally offer a bet and get at the weekend (for me at least)

William Hill offer the odd free bet, but very rare for me now

Bet365 can offer the football bet builder free bet if bet loses, amounts vary for this, also have been getting similar type of offers on some horse races too more recently

So no one doing anything like Paddys rewards club or the old sky bet bet £25 to use a £5 free bet on racing?

BetMGM were doing something similar, though I haven't checked in on that account for a while now, so no idea if still available.

Livescore if you bet 20 during the week you get a fiver bet. Got restricted from all offers myself this week so no more good to me

A livescore story in case anyone is tempted by that offer - last january/February I opened an account with them and placed a few cheltenham bets to qualify for the welcome offer. Something like the third ot fourth bet I placed on the account was storm heart for the County hurdle at 25/1, shortly after he ran a nice race at the drf. He was cut to about 10/1 within a half hour, and about an hour later I was restricted, and not allowed to use my welcome offer. Horse never even went to Cheltenham 😂

Anyone else think the grade one markets for 2026 festival look gash.
The championship races look poor enough, although the Champion hurdle might shape up as a decent race eventually, if things pan out accordingly.
Champion Chase looks rubbish, and no sign of a superstar at all, unless Sir Gino makes a brilliant recovery, or Majborough sorts his head out.
I suppose the stayers could end up a competitive little race and possibly Ballyburn or Jasmin could be top notch at that discipline.
My only bet in the Championship races is on Lecky Watson for the Gold cup but he's not really a horse to get excited about.

Hopefully the novice races shape up well as the season progresses, otherwise I can see myself focussing on the handicaps

I'm the same Q. Most quiet start ever for me. Normally at least 100 points in by now but nothing placed as yet. I'll get back on the bike soon though as the better horses get entered up. Have my eye on a few at what I feel are reasonable prices and that have almost certain targets. Going to be very, very selective this season.

I know what you mean. Depends how you look at it though:

Champ Hurdle - Fav coming out of novice company with plenty to prove in open grade at highest level and over 2m.
Champ Chase - Sir Gino coming off the back of injury and has had just one chase start which was in novice company. Marine Nationale has justified last years win, but his season will be geared to peaking in the Spring again so could be available at a bigger price at some point.
Stayers Hurdle - Either Teahupoo who has been beat twice in the last three years in the race, or Ballyburn who hasn't raced over this far over hurdles and is switching codes after chasing last season.
Ryanair Chase - Last years winner heads the market, but may be tempted to go Gold Cup and Mullins yard has first 4 in betting.
Gold Cup - Fav is last years winner, but that was almost 20lb improvement on all previous form. Has that run left a lasting mark? Be interesting to see though would definitely want to be against first time up this season and could well suggest we get a bigger price at some point through the year.

All the favourites are potentially vulnerable from a betting point of view and/or could be available at a bigger price through the season.

I have backed Teahupoo and The Yellow Clay for this and will be trying to get JDV into a roll up at some point but i have the same reservations on Ballyburn (especially at that price now) and there isn't much further down the betting that stands out. One that i have a potential eye on at a big price is Potters Charm.

Issue with Bob is he’ll likely struggle to find wins during the early start of the season, so likely drift in the market
No Rachel going forward either, she was a genius at getting the best out of her mounts and these older horses can get stubborn as they get older, could be nothing but I’ll be looking at Henry’s horses closely early season to see if this is a thing….

Plus he's ground dependant. All came good for him this year and he took full advantage. Will he get lucky again??

It’s a long time since Betfair gave me that offer.

….Cromwell says Stumptown will be aimed at Festival XC;

‘Getting him back to the Cheltenham Festival is the end goal for this season. Where we go in between now and then, I’m not too sure. He’ll take a while to get over a tough race with three days of travelling, so we won’t be running him back too soon.

“We’ll make a plan, but ultimately Cheltenham is the goal. He obviously ran in the Grand National after Cheltenham last season, but that’s not really on the list for him this time – I’d say we’ll probably bypass it. Nothing is certain, but it’s not high up on his list of races for the season.”
