Sad news regarding John Hales. Wonderful supporter of the game, just glad he got so much enjoyment from the sport, especially in his last few years where you could see he was struggling with his health.

Yeh, he was at Windsor and interviewed briefly there, quite a shock

I know he had better horses but Al Ferof is one of my favourite ... and colours that are just so distinctive

Not supremely confident because as a child of the 90s I grew up watching England pants up. but we have a formidable home record and this England team can always be counted on to dig deep and find a way to lose.

Baird is a big boost to the team, but I would prefer Crowley at 10, Prendergast has done nothing for that shirt, all Dublin media hype

Was considering a bet on on the handicap (which is set at +7.5). Specialists in the narrow defeat :welcoming:

Those two replies haven't done much to put me off but with it being the evening kick off I can wait and see how the days gone at DRF...

Undecided..... QuinnBet are pretty thirsty for a taste.... but I don't know if that means we can't mention other odds which would be an immediate no

Does anyone actually have any experience with monies from things like this? I get offers but am not sure what the value is?

Would it be of any value to forum members that are also small business owners…I’m sure many of us would favour a service provider that we have built a relationship with on here even an anonymous one.

I just wonder about the value for them with that.... our traffic is fairly niche, other than robots....

Happy to promote them FOC though ... anyone who contributes to our community earns that right .... I wouldn't imagine them paying for advertising space is worth it for them but I'm all for it within our 'walls'

Maybe needs a bit of thought my end :boxing:

I work in media planning and buying so can give a POV on general ad value.

I'd pay £20 a year to have a picture of Lobos with his shirt off !
Slumped in some sort of chair.
Maybe a vest, the thought of it now is churning my stomach.
In fact forget it.
I'll pay £20 a year for anything other than a picture of Lobos with his shirt off.
