Aye, I'd say if she wins the Long Walk it'd be fairly certain she goes Stayers. And if she's beaten in the Long Walk* I wouldn't be too keen on her for the Mares anyway to be honest.

*subject to opposition, conditions and style of defeat 😂
I'm on at decent prices so I hope she hoses up at Ascot and all the talk is of Stayers and there's a proper adjustment to her Mares price, and I'll be taking cover as I'm sure will most in here who nabbed the 33s and 25s...

Aye, I get it. And from the position that almost all of us back more than one horse in each race and potentially a value call (depending on drift) it makes sense but I'm just saying if she's beaten in the Long Walk then I reckon she'll also be beaten in the Mares Hurdle.

Why do you say that though? Could she not just be beaten for not staying?

Controversial opinion but... I'm not a massive fan of that sort of thing 😂

Likely field of a long walk at Ascot over three miles v two and half on the new course of Cheltenham, against the likes of BDA and Selma. I'm not having many horses that are winning the later after 'failing to stay' in the former.

Just popped in Hills in the way home and managed to back the 1st and 2nd home in the bumper. That was a stroke of luck 😄

Oi bitch! you didnt DM me the result, How rude 🤣
It was a bit tongue in cheek. Monzon Sport is the obvious one and I've backed Mister Boum just because Paddy said so 😂 but he has a terrible record when tipping up a bumper horse. Sure he does it on purpose but I couldn't leave it. 2 I really fancy aren't in the betting yet but I can wait 😄

Couple of races I piss money away regularly and it’s the Truimph and Bumper. Especially the latter. Trying to keep the money in the pocket for those two till later. Mind Narciso I should have backed, was glaringly obvious.

Yeah I only had 3 in the bumper last year. That was a big come down from previous years. Got 5 in mind this time. That will be it unless there is a banker on the day I haven't got

What's everyone's thoughts on Banbridge for the King George? B365 cut the 25s yesterday, but he's still readily available at 20s.

It's hard to find more than a handful that will definitely show up and his course form is top notch. Added to this that those that finished 1st and 4th in the race last season won't show up, and Gaelic Warrior (3rd) sounds unlikely.

I think he's an outstanding each way bet.

A good horse for some each way doubles for the festival too. I've done him with Mydaddypaddy and Kargese.

Totally agree. Suppose he's another year older which will make it more difficult to win but he's got outstanding credentials nonetheless

Him and Kitz are the two I have backed for the race, so I hope you are right about him :ROFLMAO:

Stop trying to bait him Lobos..... He won't bite :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
🤣The thing is ...I'm deadly serious.

Looking at the betting and taking those out that trainers say are going chasing, he's 4th best at 25/1!!!

Lossiemouth apart, Infront of him are Supreme 3rd Mydaddypaddy and Idaho Sun who's been off injured with fractured Hock. Mydaddypaddy is 5 and Idaho Sun is 6. Alexei is only 6 as well and has been there and done it and got the T-Shirt. Think he was very unlucky this year as he surely would have been placed were it not for a bad mistake at the last.

He is actually one i will get onside at some point because i do agree but i think his price is skinny even though that might sound mad because he is in the 20s. He must stand a chance of meeting Mydaddypaddy at some point. If i could get about 40s i would be happy. If he came out and beat Mydaddypaddy i will have shit it. My great bet on paddy would look crap and the price on Alexei would have gone. He cant beat paddy though surely.

Of course he can. Paddy is the one that has to step up. A few on here are unsure about how good the Supreme form was. We will find out soon.
Alexei first big target is the Fighting 5th. Not sure who else will join him. He could conceivably go off fav for that.

You have no chance of getting 40's unless he completely blows out in which case no one would back him. 25's is the best you'll get.
