It’s the same every race though jockeys always jostle etc.

Why is it so much worse at Cheltenham? Never seem to see issues like this at the big Irish festivals?

Some of the starting positions are so stupid though, the 2m4 they come round a bend and the starter is only about 100 yards away and needs to wait till they all get round the bend then by that time half them are on top of the tape. Even the 2m start again come round a bend, I think they are far too picky here, if every horse is moving let them go! Different if something is left when the are going a little quicker.

I agree, absolute handbag stuff.

Professional sport, the reaction it got you'd think it was under 7's stuff. Let them get on with it.

"Good ground is not good enough for the type of individual we are buying & trying to race. If the ground is going to be like this, we're not going to bring them."

Willie on Racing TV. I see Spectre has called him out on it on X. Fair play Paul.

We like to slag off the clerks but with the forecast they had, to only partially water was probably the best and wisest decision. If that rain had arrived 4/5 hours later, it'd have probably been OK. How much more rain is due tonight?

Willie probably pissed they didn't go for the GC.

If they put 10mm down theyd be moaning about overwatering tomorrow

Yeah. He’s a brilliant trainer but I reckon they’d be a lot of happy people if he boycotted the fez due to the ground
