For me he's effectively a heavy ground horse and the dry forecast would worry me for him for all off a 140 mark in the UK makes him obviously well handicapped.

He's best form over fences and hurdles has been on soft and more often heavy. His jumping is slowly getting better but he's got a mistake in him.

I suppose the nature of his campaign has helped keep him better handicapped, while my fancy Mount Ida has shown her hand more in graded company, as she's a mare and blacktype is essential. Her jumping last time let her down a little as it lacked fluency, that would be my biggest worry with her. Her form is working out well with Scarlet + Dove. Given she's is a winning pointer and started her rules career over 2m6 i'd say the step up in trip will unlock further improvement over fences. I've had her in the back of my mind for an Irish handicap chase for sometime, and the fact they might show up here interests me. I've backed her (i think i stuck it up here) sometime ago NRNB, and i'm very intrigued to see how she goes. The 3m2 will hopefully aide her jumping, it will have to. I suppose having have just the 3 starts over fences is a minor concern as she could do with the experience.

The ground will suit her, she should stay and improve for it.

William Hill radio saying a punter had ?100 pounds on in running at 1000/1, was it that far behind ?

Just seen the race, it was stone last at one stage and jumping like a fridge, unbelievable.

I saw the 1000s pop up in running and assumed it had fallen...wasn't in view on itv coverage for a while after so fair play whoever took that one on!

That was crazy, that horse must of been so well in it was total shit the whole way but came chugging when it mattered!
