Aintree 1.40 - Ma du Fou 8/1 - skipped the fest for this race.

Aintree 4.05 La Vaticane 22/1 e/w

Four I put in a lucky 15 for tomorrow
Ma du Fou - as above
Dromnea in the tophan 20/1
Ballydine in the hurdle
and Utility in the bumper

I've already backed cocktails at dawn for the topham from FM advice.
I see the doctor + dentist are teaming up with top cat Henry with his 3lb claim and record I,ll cover that ew at 22-1 aswell , looks tricky tmw.

I struggled to find any confidence in tomorrows selections but I'm planning an early park up from work so have plumped for:

1.40 Blazer e/w 9s
2.15 Blue et Rouge e/w 14s
4.05 Cocktails at Dawn e/w 20s - joining the forum plunge !
4.40 Gangster e/w 8s

Good luck all

Long time lurker, first post.

Hope Limini shows she will be a mare to enjoy in the coming years.

Tycoon Prince, Bishops Road and Ballydine, at nicer prices.

Sorry I forgot to mention I also backed Gangster at 8's earlier. I am going to forgive his last run and base that performance on him not getting on with the track last month. Now hoping all the hype about blitzing Vautour in the gallops was true, so fingers crossed.

FM's advice on CAD?? Did I miss his quote somewhere?:grumpy:

Dazzler / FM - please repost for me... :encouragement:

Exactly my thoughts LR.
Plenty of very good horses don't act on the undulations at Cheltenham but get to Aintree and they're different animals, Apples Jade case in point today.
It's a good race as you'd expect for a G1 but I'm hopeful Gangster will show his true colours tomorrow...

Added Bleu Et Rouge 14/1 to my selection + r/f with the favourite.

Ruby and Cooper passed over Gangster though ?

Fat double for me
Limini
Un Temps Pour Tout,
might add BOF in a treble, only 6/4 at 365 though

I just can't have Bellshill after they favoured to run Up For Review over him in the AB. He will probably go and bolt up now lol.

Hoping they are doing a Wicklow here by giving PT a shot with Gangster.

Conspiracy theory again - could they have been setting Bellshill up with this race after entering him into the Supreme which is a race knowing the distance will be too short?

I like a good conspiracy theory too, you could be onto something LR, wouldn't be the first time the yard have pulled it off

I would think WM would want Ruby on his best horse with the British title at grasp.

Melodic Rendezvous would be huge at 50/1 if he produced his best, will love the ground

And that's why he was that price, lol, obviously gone at the game, didn't have a bet in the race and I certainly wouldn't have picked the winner given 5 darts

There are definitely no up and coming G1 horses in that field. Ma Fa Fou was very disappointing and so were many others.

Limini was disappointing there, unsatisfactory result really with Petit Mouchoir being so close, not sure how to read that, then again I'm struggling to read anything at the moment, just had a single on UTPT, had been a double, then probably just Triolo D'Alene in the Nash, might give it a rest for a bit then if no joy, sometimes that's what I need
