February ‘26 Yankee

Yes, I'd be stunned if he got off him. They are made for each other.
There will be but the trip and headgear will bring out more and he's had the perfect preparation in that he's got the experience in early and they have been able to freshen him up and come into the race off a lovely break.
You'd be stunned if he decided to ride the Favourite instead ?
Will the longer trip not mean he comes off the bridle even more than normal :ROFLMAO:

I like how Wade Out has a brown Advisory entry as well, yard must think he is better than his current mark

Will Bowen definitely ride Wade Out ?

Is he not stable jockey for Olly Murphy? The question should be why wouldn't he be on Wade Out?

It can't be because he'd ride that Getaway yak!!

WO will go off fav.
No. He'll bloody love it and travel as well as he has all season.
Can't wait to see him in the race.

…..not sure how Supremely West fares on Pertemps Gault Stats;

Nine of the last ten winners wore tongue ties. And a sh hd 2nd in the other.

The last 12 were either Elliott trained or ran within the last 39 days

Only two in the last 27 had won a qualifier. Their last run was to win one no more than 35 days before this final.

Only Sire De Berlais (2019) this century had not run since December 31st (71 days)

No winner this century had their final prep run at Cheltenham

This century only three first time winners placed at a previous Festival

Fingal Bay (2013) the only first time winner in the last 34 years to be a previous course winner

Only Presenting Percy of the last 16 had won more than once that season

Doddiethegreat the only winner older than eight years since 2011

Seven of the last eight Irish Trained winners ran in the Leopardstown Qualifier

12 from the last 15 BHA rated 138+

Liam McKenna (5) in 2023 only conditional winner since 2011

This century no BF last time has won

Three winning favourites this century

Willie Mullins yet to win. Paul Nicholls broke his duck in 2024.

In each of the last five, N Henderson has horses finish in the first five.

Wade doesn't jump well enough imo, stamina is all well and good it's soon depleted if you keep making mistakes, the jockey will earn his money on him thats for sure.

Very open to changing my mind so if there's enough against my current 3 then I'll discard and pick another.

….be strong unless you have a doubt yourself, Matey. Sixmilebridge and Supremely West in particular seem popular across the site. The thread invites opinion but ultimately it’s your shout.

Think I read that Ruby put in a good word for Downmexicoway in the Grand Annual. Lobos loves an HdB 2 mile chaser!

Supremely West
Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle, 8-1

I was wondering if he didn't stay, so I ran him over 2m4f last time, which probably wasn't the right thing to do, and 3m will be more like it. His first run was his best run for us, so we've taken the advice he's offered us, we've got him really fresh, and I'd say he's got a solid each-way chance.

IIRC, he said for the JR

** and in HdB latest tour on RTV, he mentioned him more likely to go up to 2 and half
Cheers. Entered in the Grand Annual, Jack Richards and Plate and around 16/1 in all three. Maybe a better feel when the weights are released.

….looking like 3 handicaps are covered, leaving us with a selection from;

Ultima
Fred Winter
Coral Cup
XC
Grand Annual
Plate
Kim Muir
County
Martin Pipe.

Plenty there if anybody has got strong opinion.
