Currently we have archie to thank for putting ?50 in the pot, we will sort out any prize monies and how it is allocated in due course when we see if we receive any other offers. We also have a bottle of something special for the winner courtesy of the Fat Jockey bartender Time For Rupert.
The Fat Jockey Ten To Follow competition runs from Friday November 13[SUP]th[/SUP] 2020 to Saturday May 1[SUP]st[/SUP] 2021.Results count from National Hunt Races in Great Britain and Ireland only. If the NH season is extended to allow the Punchestown Festival to take place, the competition will be extended likewise.
The rules and conditions for the Ten To Follow competition are as follows:
Each forum member may select A MAXIMUM OF TWO TEAMS.
For each team select NINE horses from the list of 200 horses below and add ONE Dark Horse i.e one horse of your own choice which is not on the list, TEN IN TOTAL. In the event a team is submitted which contains more than nine list horses, only the first nine horses will count. If any of the first nine horses contain a horse not in the list of 200 horses, that horse will be omitted. Each team shall have a different Dark Horse.
Teams must be submitted in alphabetical order plus the Dark Horse as Horse Number 10. The Dark Horse ONLY must be followed by the name of its trainer. (If I can put 200 horses in alphabetical order, you can manage 9 plus a Dark Horse as horse 10!). Entries which have been "liked" indicate the entry has been accepted.
Note teams not in alphabetical order will not be accepted.
In each team no more than three horses, including the Dark Horse, shall be from the same stable. Any team subsequently found to have breached that rule once the competition starts will be declared void.
Please mark you teams as Team A, Team B and Team C
Closing date for entries is 01.00PM on Friday November 13[SUP]th[/SUP] 2020. In the event the Forum is down that day, entries can be emailed to thediamondgeezer@virginmedia.com.
Any disputes during the TTF competition, the decision of Diamond Geezer will be final.
*** Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the list of 200 horses includes horses who will be running at some point during this season, this cannot be absolutely guaranteed. ***
Good luck everyone
Edit: Changed closing time to 1PM
