Good point raised on dec's tracking by Liammet. Feel free to delete Kev but thought it would be a good idea to just have a dedicated space to discuss live decs for a few days

Gordon up nice and early while Willie is still having a think over his cornflakes

The changes to the NHC look to have worked. The race is looking stacked already. Resplendent Grey in for me. Just waiting on Aworkinprogress
 
Stuzzikini declared so far in the NHC - thought he'd be in the KM. Still time to undeclared horses but odd option.
 
Burdett Road entered in the Champion Hurdle for you County hurdle sharks
 
…Henry’s Friend in the Ultima for Naiad followers, taking it as a positive that Pic Roc hasn’t yet been declared by Pauling in NHC.

A lot are the bottom dwellers set to carry 10st flat etc

However Hot Fuss currently number 15, Ephesus number 19. 10 more potential declarations who be above Hot Fuss. Horses left that are high in the weights are trained by Willie (4), Gavin Cromwell (2) and JOB (2), the other trainers all only have 1 entry so suspect they would stay in.
Looks like it will come down to Willies decision making.

Hot Fuss will be fine, IMO.

Ephesus is going to struggle, which is a shame.

Do they have reserves still? If so he will be one.
 
Pretty expected but looks like no Conflated in the Ultimate so everyone will be getting some additional weight - I think 5lbs
 
One thing interesting is if trainers with horses that might not get in wait to see the numbers that are getting declared before pressing the button

The likes of Myretown in the Ultima is a case

If they wait till late and see if it fills up then there's no point declaring

Whereas if they do declare and get balloted out we are entitled to have our stake refunded on Antepost bets

That's how I understand it

They get their entry money back if they declare and balloted out so makes sense for the owners to declare them even if not getting in to get the money back.
