December ‘25 Yankee

I'd watch that Cheltenham race back if I were you, he was hesitant at a few, fair enough not meeting it on a stride that's on the pilot, but it's how they fiddle their way over that shows their intelligence, I think he needsto to improve plenty but there's certainly an engine there to work with...
Yeah, similar to Corbett's Cross before his demolition job

I don't remember him being a poor jumper but that could easily be my lack of attention to detail, but they did run him a fair bit as a novice chaser and he had a stack of hurdling experience so maybe he just hot better with runs, I just think they need to do something similar with Wade Out and because the race is now a handicap there's pretty much no margin for him to put in a decent performance between now and weights release.
I guess though he'll have to go over hurdles if they want to keep him ticking over, but they'll also need to get plenty of jumping into him at racing pace at home....

He has to run over fences again, otherwise he can't run in the race.

Corbett's was very sloppy and deliberate. Yep, little margin re WO. A hurdle prep could be the way to go but wouldn't be surprised to see him go straight there as his record fresh is decent. He had a hard race last time as well so don't expect to see him anytime soon.

If you are looking at getting a yankee out before Xmas then you have to be looking at horses who you hope will be stepping up significantly on their seasonal return over that period (Anzadam or The Yellow Clay for example) or horses who will make a stamp on the market in significant 'trials' (mainly novices). Not sure now is the right time to be thinking of handicappers for the yankee.

Anyone need a reminder of what number of runs is required for the handicaps at Cheltenham festival.
For the novice handicaps and the open handicaps.

Google AI has fucking nailed it. 👍
Took fucking months last season. And some people still have no clue.🤷‍♂️

…..whilst the concentration is on post-Christmas Leopardstown declarations, the 2m 7f Novice Hurdle on Boxing Day at Limerick is a serious one to consider as far as the Albert Bartlett is concerned.

Classical Creek (popular on here) is one of 16 entries, along with Dr Steinberg who is a best 16-1 for AB.

I've made my thoughts known on Classical Creek. I think he's a proper horse, so I'm hoping he doesn't let me down :ROFLMAO:

I can't help but keep topping up on the 25's still available.

Interesting that Elliott is mob handed with 7 entries yet Mullins has just the two, Doctor Steinberg who has a penalty to carry and Bon Viveur, a 2m family owned maiden winner. Could be looking to get a good performance before selling, like they did with Love Me Tender earlier in the year.

Townend at Kempton, Patrick at Leopardstown or Danny at Limerick?

Wouldn't be surprised if Patrick and Danny is other way around. Patrick couldn't do the 10st 13lb for Narciso Has.

Would Patrick get the ride on Narciso anyway? Appreciate Walsh may be at Kempton (Fact to File) but would JP not put someone else on ahead of Patrick like...

Before they run next I think both Mydaddypaddy and No Drama This End are worth considering
Obviously they are both highly thought of by connections and both been impressive.
Prices currently are ok imo and likely to shorten after their next run.
I’m confident the Supreme and Turners are pretty much set in stone for these two.

Just done the double with lads boost to 47/1.

Good point. Didn't consider the JP factor. Both Limerick and Leopardstown have interesting bumpers which could make a difference to where Patrick goes. Last year both Patrick and Danny went to Leopardstown. Mullins didn't bother too much with Limerick, with Brian Hayes riding his one in the grade 2. Could be similar again.

I prefer to differ. The New Lion started at 3/1 on the day for the Turners (Though I am sure bigger was available on the day), you had nrmb protection and he had already won a grade 1 beating some of the best Britain has. Mydaddypaddy has looked impressive but won a couple of basic walkovers. Mullins has yet to show his hand and we still have many of the significant Irish trials to come. Hard to see him being much shorter than 5/1 on the day unless Mullins horses are garbage, though even then they will likely be overbet still. No Drama This End I can justify a bit more especially as he is a bigger price with less to prove than MDP. However, Nicholls has a poor record in the race having yet to win it though often thinking he has a strong contender and it's debateable whether he truly knows what it takes to win the race. I would be happy taking a couple of points less on both with NRMB and a better idea of the standard of opposition.
