Mixed bag there for me sirbetalot I'll be happy just to avoid terrafort, Have the jlt in the bag. And see what happens with the rest. But bad with injuries.

6/1 :highly_amused: still better than a NR. Hopefully the storyteller goes in for us both.

Don't be writing off Cap Soleil just yet... meant to be flying at home and they fancy her for this, especially if the rains come in the morning

Her form is pretty horrendous robante regardless of how she's working. I wish us both the best of luck with her. We will need it. But you never know.

Haha, probably clutching at straws for sure. Form is a bit muddled but she'll likely get outpaced turning for home/struggle to go the gallop of Maria's Benefit. Nice to get a run for the money regardless, was my first punt in this race

A shed load of rain due tonight. Has anyone had thoughts about no racing tomorrow.? I was there on Tuesday and stuck in a quagmire. Just putting it out there.

They're on the new course tomorrow aren't they so the fresh ground will help, also some of the jocks have been saying some rain should help to make it looser therefore less holding, fingers crossed there's not too much rain and it works out as they say

Claisse said he was considering changing the new course to soft, good to soft in places but is leaving it how it is

Delta Work might be able to cope but he would be much better on drier ground and big concern for Tully East hence the market drift.

From last night ...

Cheltenham's groundstaff are preparing to ready the New Course ahead of tomorrow's third day at The Festival.

Some rain is forecast overnight, but drier weather should prevail by the time racing gets underway at 1.30pm.

Clerk of the course, Simon Claisse said: "The weather forecast says we could get half an inch of rain, or up to 12 millimetres, later this evening and mid-morning tomorrow, and then a dry and mostly-bright afternoon with the occasional shower.

"The New Course is currently 'soft, heavy in places', but only just - the heavier places are at the back of the two-mile start, so [Affecting races] over two and a half. It's nearly good to soft, but there's no point changing the going at this stage with the rain that is forecast.

Some rain last night but the forecast is looking good today. We have been so lucky with the weather. No rain day 1 or 2 (in the day) and by the looks of the forecast no rain today either
