Cross Country Chase 2019

It's literally the only sense I can make of yesterday. Powered home and would appreciate a step up beyond 3m.

He might prove a cliff horse for me this season but bet taken Mall Dini split stakes 25/1 and 12/1 NRNB

That didn't even cross my mind after I read your post.

We won't get an update from the trainer on whether he's had a sneaky go at the course.

Couldn't fancy him without knowing that.

Reynolds talked about booking Patrick with Cheltenham in mind. As Patrick recently schooled Ballycasey around the Cheltenham X-Country it's all a bit of a mystery. I'd incline towards the cock-up theory.

Was pleased to see that video of Patrick taking him round the course again, an extra bit of practice can’t hurt

Lovely news. Said it multiple times in this thread. Mullins is doing a carbon copy of how Gordon has prepared his for this in the past

Is there anyway of finding out which horses have been schooled round the X country course, or is it just the odds news snippet?

Where is the Patrick video taking Ballycasey around the course chaps?

Saphir Du Rheu a fairly classy individual to enter this sphere

He's retired kev. He's a team chaser

That's why I was half thinking maybe they'd handed ballycasey over for the team. And to be rehomed with them also.

What does that mean? Handed him over for the team??

I don't think ballycasey has been. But saphir de rheu is retired and was handed over to be rehomed and go team chasing

(Team chasing is a British equestrian sport, contested between teams of four riders over a cross-country course of about two miles, with about 25 fences to be jumped)

And will later go eventing.

Same as Denman before him etc.....

Oooh, I read that as if he was going for the race haha

Any talk of edwulf coming here ?
See he is priced up by a few firms
Maybe he was requested
Would be an interesting entry

I’ve seen this I’m sure we’ll get more decent horses entering this race as it is turning out to be quite the GN trial now. Trainers targeting horses for the GN maybe looking at this race. Edwulf thinking about the national then. Although I wouldn’t be so keen horses that haven’t been around there before it tends to come as a shock to the system.

As you can guess by the name I’m hoping tiger can become a 4 time festival winner!

You don't need to be hopeful when its a certainty! (though I did say the same last year about Cause of Causes)
