County Hurdle 2018

Divin Bere
Nietzsche
Project Bluebook
Diable De Sivola

Diable De Sivola would be the only one of interest for me from that list.

Nietzche won't get in off 129, cut off was 134 last year, Divin Bere has been woefully out of form this season, wouldn't touch him until he showed something of a revival and Project Bluebook may have a squeak, but for me, nothing more than that.

Either woefully out of form, won’t get in, or being plotted for another race (project bluebook the pipe hopefully).

He’s a 33/1 shot! Of course you can pick holes in him but I think he’ll run well and be thereabouts at the finish

I can't back a horse based on just this, otherwise I'd end up with three quarters of the field haha!

Fair one, he’s shown nothing recently but think he’s longing to be stepped up in trip. Interesting to see if he’s in the entries for the pipe

I don’t follow? The only horse carrying more weight than him was Divin Bere in second? His mark is now 141 but regardless of the fact that he just looks shot rather than plotted, Flying Angel for me was far more value for that win than a neck anyway

Divin Bere would get a nice swing at the weights for his narrow defeat. I think it could be slightly naive to say that Flying Tiger is being plotted based on losing all his races the season, where as Divin Bere is ‘shot’ because he’s run down the field in two of the hottest handicaps of the season on ground he would have hated. Divin Bere also beat Flying Tiger comprehensively when they met off level weights at Aintree and they now only have one pound between them.

I’m not sure either of them will be good enough but I always like to look at the full picture.

Both are 33/1 shots. Flying tiger likes good ground also. I’d rather be on a horse that finished a couple of lengths behind ch’tibello on unsuitable ground (given a conservative ride) than one who has been absolutely hammered. But wouldn’t knock your thinking on divin bere. Not convinced either good enough either, but at 33/1 there are enough positives to get involved

I think there could be a few horses who were hammered in the Betfair who could show up in this, purely based on how bad the ground turned out on the day.

Horses that get hammered in Imperial Cup can win it so :encouragement:

Harry Skelton was very sweet on Mohaayed during the Weatherbys preview tonight. Put him up as his charity bet also

Gone with Project Bluebook and Le Richebourg, both 33/1. Both been running on the 'wrong' ground all season. Hopefully, they will both get in. Le Richebourg has only one entry so money back if he doesn't run.

Just seen a mention for Charli Parcs in the preview nights thread for this. What weight do we see him carrying? Ran well lto

He could be another plot, this race seems to have 10 horses all plotted up, will be a cracker.

I cant stop backing Flying Tiger. Unbelievable rick on his mark imo.

Call Me Lord currently allotted 11-08 and Flying Tiger 10-10, despite the fact FT finished 1/2l behind him in the Kingwell giving him 2lb.

My biggest handicap winner of the week by some margin now.

Does seem strange, bookies finally cottoning on and shortening him now. Add in that he's been trained for this all year, handles any ground, has the best course form you can have, and he's got to be in the frame

Took some 20s with SKY.
