Chelters 2016 Antepost bets

That's a savage amount of non runners Iain. I'm also questioning the benefit of backing ante post at the moment but I know that when I see a horse run an eye catching race over the next few months I'll be right on Oddschecker looking for a price. I just can't help myself.

The feeling of backing a horse ante post, at a massive price, that pulls clear up the hill is unparalleled and that's why we keep doing it....imo.

I get similarly frustrated but just keep plugging away. Most years I manage to turn it around but almost certainly not before things get even worse because I have a shocking record on the first day. Probably best to try and just reduce ante-post bets such that a couple of winners will more than cover the losers. There will always be horses who get injured but I can't remember anything similar to the re-routing of Onenightinvienna. I think a few 'rules' go out the window where Cheltenham betting is concerned. At the moment trying to fill in the 'gap races' and even so close to kick-off it is still very difficult but at least you now have NRNB.

Some nice prices there Ista!

We are setting off in a couple of hours so I doubt I'll get the chance to post again until Friday morning.

It's been good to read everyone's views on the lead up to the festival and it's obvious that we all have a real passion for it. All the best and let's hope one of us land a big one.

I cant make it there this year but maybe if some of our bets come off Ill be there in 2017.
 
Sorry I missed my Cue Card bet e/w 7/1.
