Thought it might be useful to post any horses or form to look out for in the near future, that ties in with any Cheltenham winners or performances.

One that comes to mind, someone here was super keen on (can’t remember who), is Indigo Breeze after The Real Whacker’s win.

Could help with some roll ups going onto next year!

Good idea for a thread :encouragement:

2.40 ebonello (newbury) today
form behind stable mate you wear it well

Not sure the bumper form can be taken literally but You Wear It Well is a form-line I’ll be looking out for

Didn't work out today.... although probably not the right ground for it today

I think we can assume Risk Belle would have went really close to winning had she stood up at Leopardstown, backed off the boards then ran a blinder at cheltenham. So Liberty Dance has to be a bet if she runs again this season. Solid run off a big weight at leopardstown, not sure how severe injury is however

Deeply Superficial won well today down in trip after being beaten by You Wear it Well in Sandown back in Feburary. That formline is definitely worth keeping an eye on

She’s not exactly a great price for the Mares Hurdle but you can definitely see her shortening up throughout next season.

Have connections mentioned anything about going chasing?

"You Wear It Well is a proper stayer at that trip and she's jumped out and the rain has helped her. To do that with a penalty as well, she's a lovely mare who jumps great. But we've followed the Love Envoi route so far; Honeysuckle is obviously retiring. She will jump a fence in time, but we'll enjoy today and work out tomorrow, tomorrow"

Trainer quote post mares novice win. I think she's got a massive chance in the mares hurdle if she goes but she's not a high priority bet ATM due to the uncertainty surrounding her target

Yup. Was even less certainty on Luck On Sunday last week. I came away thinking fences were more likely. And the way they talked about the mares allowance and the owner wanting a staying chaser, made me think the BANC was the most likely target. One I won’t be playing until NRNB.

I had mares chase or mares hurdle as only options in my head but she's seriously well bred for the staying chasers so definitely worth consideration there.. maybe we'll be able to snaffle some triple figure odds on the machine at some point over the next six months. That would make the lack of nrnb worth it

You Wear It Well around 25s for the Mares Chase

That good old that there machine. Seriously worth listening to that interview if you're interested in her for anything at Chelts '24.

I have tried to find the interview but can’t…obviously I can’t comment without seeing interview, but my gut feeling was mares hurdle next year (at age of 7) and then a novice chase campaign at 8. But maybe they will bring that forward a year. And if they are talking staying chases, that really points only to Browns Advisory. And then gold cup? Shame as I really fancy her for the mares hurde
next year!

Also couldn't find the interview Exar Essay mentioned (and don't have access to racing TV) but happy to take him at his word that staying suggests RSA - it does fit with breeding

I also fancied her for mares hurdle though so be interesting to see what they do. If they fancy her as a gold cup runner she does have to go novice chasing next year though really

Always a Claimer

I have tried to find the interview elsewhere and can’t. I think it’s only available on Racing TV.

I assume you guys can’t access that?

I’d stress that Snowden didn’t namecheck a race or even state she would be a 3m chaser. He did however state that 3m chasers is what the owner wants and that he might finally have one. As I say, I won’t be betting her antepost (silly machine prices aside) but my impression was that she’d be tried over fences this year with an aim of stepping up to 3m.

It would make sense for them to go to the Mares Chase in her novice chase season. She’s the pace to win over 2m so step her up gradually and take on the boys in her 2nd season.

One I’ve noticed from the MNH is Endless Escape. Won a few races beforehand with similar form lines to YWIW and seems to want 2m4f+. Much lesser profile and might go under the radar in next couple of races depending on opposition

Thanks mate, yes I could access that (surprisingly) but it's the worst on demand player I've ever experienced - paused every 2 minutes and had to refresh the page to carry on viewing. Interview is at about 1hr 21mins for anyone interested in YWIW.

I agree with your summary - they said she will go over a fence at some point, which is same as quote after mares novice, but added she'd be schooled before summer to see where she's at. I think Mares Chase/RSA (Snowden mentioned she was entered in Bartlett and owner wanted her to go there) are most likely at this point and I'd argue RSA is where she will be if owner gets his way but also holding fire for now unless I can steal Exar's fancy exchange prices :devilish: The key negative with the RSA at this stage is that to me it looks likely to be a strong or, at the very least competitive, edition next year which is a complete contrast to how it looked to me at this stage last year when Cocooner and TNG looked a little bit ahead (that worked out well :beaten:)

Slow to spot but Apple Away did have a form line with You Wear It Well both beating the same Skelton horse - She’s A Saint. Interested in how YWIW gets on today.
