Cheltenham Festival Preview Nights 2019

This preview was chaos last year, Ricci didn’t show and covered the bar tab so everyone was drunk, loud and constantky heckled the panelists, I think they’ve tried to adjust the sound to drown out any crowd noise, Gordon has commented the crowd are being disrespectful...

London isn't it?

I'll let this hang here :p

And a connection to a mass media title too.

I got taken to it by the Mirror a few years ago as I'd done a deal with them and got on well with the reps. I was the only person from all the ad agency people they brought who actually sat listened and took notes. Everyone else just got plastered

Bit embarassing.

Has anyone taken the boosts?

Buveur D'air 11/4
Delta Work 3/1
Paisley Park 5/2
Sir Erec 6/4

.... and they say ante-post is dead! Good luck to the on-the-day punters, jeez.

That was the BetBright one in Shoreditch - we left half way through it was so bad (though excellent guests). This was cancelled and rescheduled last year because of the weather so didn’t actually have many attendees.

I took the last two. Not mad keen about either but I'll decide to either top up or get rid on the day.

Yes you’re right Vautour, my mistake

Certain members of theses audiences are a total and utter bunch of shite.
Disrespectful to the guests and NH racing

Novice question lads.

I placed an ante post trixe a while back, one of those selections is a now non runner, if the other two go on to win will there be a payout?

Yeah, as a double.

Yep, spot on.
But you’ll be surprised at the number of people who not only love the sound of their own voice but think they either know more than the panelists or that everyone else in the room would prefer to listen to them than champion trainers/jockeys....

To play devils advocate.
They're probably just excited and couldn't hear the people on stage anyway.
And the panelist's themselves were talking between each other every time someone else was speaking, which made it harder to hear the speaker.

You just described Matt Chapman last night :highly_amused:

Did Joseph give a mention to Tower Bridge in the Close Bros on Day 1? Interesting profile for the race.
