They're all at it, it's a very short list of those who don't cheat but in NH they're generally acting on trainers orders, flat game the plenty of pilots who have teams that lay their rides which is horrible to know but you'd be niaive to think it didn't happen, it just happens more than your average punter realises...
 
I stand by my original accusation and I’m adding Diomede Des Mottes into my list of ‘handicap plots’!! :highly_amused:
 
If Malone Road is injured can we see Envoi Allan going Supreme and Andy Dufresne going Bally?
 
I'd say anything could happen yet somer1.
It's only November.
Look back on last years threads at this time and there'll be loads of horses getting jiggy that were no marks come March. or injured.

New boy here so apologies for incorrect posts etc
Having watched her 'schooling' session (certainly given far more to do) at the Dublin festival in January and her subsequent runs I am very keen on Bigbadandbeautiful for the Champion Bumper. GE has indicated that she will be aimed at bumpers and possibly on the flat too.
40/1 and even 50/1 - last I saw rated at 115 which compare hugely with Fayonagh at a similar time of year- positive comments from Codd - I'm on but would be interested in your thoughts

Hi Boris.
I'm not sure that the champion bumper is the plan.
I think they've mentioned something else.
And most importantly, he's already had four bumper runs, and I'm not sure he can run in a bumper again before cheltenham.
Think it's maximum of 4.
Someone else may confirm.

Think a winners bumper and then hurdling was mentioned at some stage, but can't be sure.
I think your bet only has a chance if she doesn't run between now and Cheltenham. But I can't remember if it's four runs including cheltenham or four prior to the champion bumper (i think it's the latter)

He said after Clonmel that "you won’t have a better one in the yard. She doesn’t show a lot at home but she was very good there.

“She’ll probably stick to bumpers and could go back on the Flat as well. There is a Listed bumper at Navan that she could go for.”



I initialy assumed she'd be going hurdling, (stayer down the line)

Worth keeping an eye on entries as i assume you know that if she has a run over hurdles, she cant run in the Cheltenham champion bumper. And unlikely to shorten up any time soon.

That explains the 50/1!
Listed bumper on 24th November followed by a target of Novice mares I am assuming although 2 1/2 miles would be better
The considered opinion is why I am here so appreciate the input

To be clear.
I'm 100% certain that if she runs....
On the Flat
In another bumper
or over hurdles

before March, she is not eligible.
Only thing I can't be certain on is if she is already ineligible after already having four bumper runs.
Someone will know, but I've tried to google it and gave up. (one of my bad character traits)
 
Race conditions:
It is for four, five and six-year-olds which have not run under any recognised Rules of Racing, except National Hunt Flat races, Irish National Hunt Flat races or French AQPS races. Horses are not to have run in more than four National Hunt Flat races and, before February 27, must have been placed first, second, third or fourth in such a race.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one a bit confused with potential entries - however BBB is one to keep my eye on (IMHO) as I really thought (albeit somewhat worse for wear) at the Dublin festival that she has been worth waiting for.

The card at Fairyhouse tomorrow is looking very interesting, Bapaume, Galvin, Annamix & Consierta are lining up in races at present
 
Have a feeling at least a couple of Fez winners will come from today's runners in Ireland. Brilliant days racing.

But If theres one, imo abacadabras was by far the most impressive today. (Supreme)

we haven't seen Willie's 2 mile novices yet, but a benchmark has been set.

Agree, he did do it very easily. Gord and Gigg are going to have a hell of a headache sorting their lot out. Nice headache to have though. Must be their best year yet for novice Hurdlers.
