Cheltenham 2020 - Ante post bets

Got my first nice cash out position. Can double my money virtually on the Malone Raod / Envoi Allen EW double.

Bit naughty that they are offering the equivalent of your stake back as the cash out for Laurina bets at 14/1 and Samcro at 16/1 mind you, when both have shortened 5 points..

Very canny from Rebecca Curtis today, pop Lisnagar Oscar over a shorter trip than usual at Stratford today (though I’ll admit he’s won at near the distance before), have him beat by 30+ lengths so his RSA price sweetens to 40s :very_drunk:, ive reloaded on it as I really like the horse.... Masterstroke

Odds on to run in a handicap if turning up at Cheltenham.

I was surprised by the quick turn out for Lisnager Oscar as she ran on soft at Chepstow which is the equivalent as heavy any other course 3 weeks and it was a tough race so thought today may have been more than just practice. I agree about the handicap angle, maybe the Close Brothers

Which piece of Lisnager Oscars form makes him a grade 1 winner in waiting?

Taking positives from a 30l+ defeat is optimistic to day the least

I have to say it was very much tongue in cheek, maybe I should have used more emojis
I didn’t dislike his run in the AB last year, he didn’t dislike the course which is important in my eyes and I thought he’d make a good chaser, sometimes you just get a feeling on a horse

Oooh! :highly_amused:
It makes more sense now

Not sure where to put this but I’ve had a bit of joy asking William Hill to void some bets over twitter

Have had bets on Mr Adjuicator and Princess Vega refunded both of whom appear to be out

I tried to cancel a few ante post ‘any race’ bets with Hills and they refused, I should have rang up earlier when the news of the horses out for the season first broke

I DMd them in twitter

No excuse given just asked for it to be voided. Kind of chanced it that the social media people might not have their finger on the pulse with antepost

Fury Road impressive, looks a great future chaser , typical Giggs
40/1Skybet
Gone now AB

Coeur sublime likely target..?
Was t in stable tour and nothing I can see in print

theres no reason why if it keeps improving he couldnt turn into a champion hurdle contender. Davy said hes a total different horse to last year and it looked that in race too he jumped super and always looked in control

Although I was in the minority in a backing him for the Triumph last season, I actually thought they my try and ‘handicap’ this season rather than going for the Graded races. Seems they’re aiming for the latter.

QUOTES: Coeur Sublime is a nice horse. He was second in a Triumph Hurdle and was entitled to do that. He will stay further in time too. He looks a different horse this year, he's a lot stronger this year and Davy says he feels a feels a different horse. We'll have plenty of fun with him this year. He'll have to improve to go the Champion Hurdle route but there are plenty of Grade 2s and Grade 3s to be won - Gordon Elliott, trainer
