Cheltenham 2020 - Ante post bets

I'd imagine they will refund immediately on horses that have died and in short order on horses that are officially scratched from races that don't have supplementary entries. The G1s generally have a supplementary entry stage so refunds for those races won't happen until after those dates.

Agree with that Archie. Supplementary Entries, I think, are at the 5-day decs for each days racing.

Simon Claisse on The Cheltenham Going

“The ground is predominantly soft on the chase and hurdle courses with a little bit of heavy on the intersections and a little bit more heavy on the cross country course”

"The forecast for the next seven days remains unsettled with further spells of rain, and as such that I would envisage still being predominantly soft by the end of next week.”

I don’t think they will, I think they’ll do their money back if 2nd or extra places the other days

Pretty sure they won’t.

They’re cutting and changing their offers frequently at the moment.

The less said about their prices currently on offer for the Supreme (with no BOG concession coming at all, even on race day), is ridiculous. I’ll wait until the day for the offer and do something at SP.

Have 365 turned down some of the cash outs? I’m sure some of mine have dropped even tho the horses are priced the same....

I think they've clocked on to those that use cash out more regularly than others as couple of my accounts the cash out is different to other accounts that I rarely use.

How do you get multiple 365 accounts? In family members names?

Sorry dont know where else to put this, did anyone get the racing post today and can share Willies trainer comments after Acapella Bourgeois win yesterday, please, pretty please. Thank you in advance

Willie Mullins did not train Bobbyjo, but he has completely dominated the race named after Tommy Carberry's Grand National hero and the wide-margin victory of mudlark Acapella Bourgeois was his fifth in a row, and his eighth in the last decade.

The 15-length win prompted BoyleSports to half Acapella Bourgeois' price for the Randox Health Grand National from 50-1 to 25-1 and Mullins said afterwards that Aintree was the most likely destination for his ten-year-old, especially if the ground was on the soft side.

The winning trainer said: "He's in the English and Irish Nationals. There are a lot of connections and they are probably more leaning towards Aintree. I'd imagine at the moment that's winning the vote in the Carlow camp. The weather will play a big part. We'll have to see what the long-range forecast is like.

"Conditions suited him great today. Very heavy ground and a good test of stamina is exactly what he wants. He jumped well today, better than he did at Gowran in the Thyestes. These were his ideal conditions and he won well."

It's the same in the print edition as it is online.

Thanks Squiggsy much obliged, hes top of my GN system just wanted to make sure that nothing too negative was said about going for it. He has actually got the highest score ive ever awarded on it FWIW.

This isn't relevant or that exciting but.... I've jsut changed the format that 'dates' are displayed from previous posts, so instead of the annoying US Month-Day-Year

We now have it written out.... go back a few pages and look :applause:
