Borderline if it gets in ona mark of 140.
But
Do it for the village 33-1 NRNB each way looks worth a pop for the Grand annual. so i have.
The race he got hammered in against Cyrname now looks decent enough, and he was held up at the back.

Effectively winning his race by getting second, and went unpenalised (might get a retrospective rise now but would only help get in the race)
He travels really well and they ran here last year and you can't afford mistakes and he made two bad ones and came 6th.
He's 10 now but they've won it (10yr olds) before and plenty 9 yr olds have won so it's not an obvious young horses race.

His first time out run at cheltenham this season can be excused as him not being fit, as i think it drifted drastically also.
he;s won at the course and won over further , which is also a good sign

He's in a pertemps qualifier. And Has a lowly mark. Pure punt as im thinking he'd have a big chance in either of them 2.

And i can only assume the price id get offered for either individual race. Would be dross.

I didn’t realised they entered him in a qualifier. It’s intersting indeed although he still needs to learn to jump better.
 
Thanks for the heads up on the qualifier entry. I'd backed him in the AB but have cashed that and backed him any race with 365.

Chepstow on Saturday. He’s been given an OR of 131 so he’ll need to win to get in a festival handicap. It’s an interesting move but I’m not sure what the handicap stats are like for such an inexperienced horse. Based on my pre-season view he could be chucked in as I expected him to be at the front of the market in either the Ballymore or Albert Bartlett.
 
...Skelton did me a huge favour in last years County Hurdle so i’ve gone in on Nube Negra @33-1 ahead of this afternoons race and popped it in a small stake double with Dogon (Fred Winter) at the same price.

Very late reply but I've heard Fanfan Du Seuil goes for the Triumph so unless it was NRNB then probably worth saving the money anyway

He could ride Altior in this years bumper and I wouldn’t back it

Fingers crossed he doesn’t ride anything at the fez
