Yes I couldnt agree more. Very funny season so far and I dont think its all down to the ground. I too believe Mullins and Elliot may have gone slightly easier on their horses so that they are peaking for Feb rather than the previous method of December. Suppose it makes sense.

I feel very underwhelmed with the horses I've seen so far... struggling to see too many potential superstars just yet.

As an over arching point, we're in a bit of a trough probably in terms of the NH game in general.

The novices haven't been 'all-that' for two years now, this crop look no better than what we've seen recently either.

The star performers are Altior (superstar)

That's probably it! Behind him, we have Un De Sceaux and Faugheen, and I'm sure we all love them, but they're both past their best... Buveur D'air has never caught the imagination and although I'm a fan, you can see why he's not celebrated as a superstar!

There are others, but 2007 to 2012 was some of the best National Hunt and Flat racing that has ever been. Feast and famine, rough with the smooth...

but the next superstar, hasn't hit the track yet over obstacles...

Seems to be a huge drift on Blackbow as you said, unsure where that has come from!

They said supreme or ballymore but stressed NRNB as no guarantee he will go
 
Do we think Battleoverdoyen is heading to Supreme or Ballymore? Betting suggests the latter but keen to get some other opinions

Any one else's hype gone up a notch today? I'm starting to get pumped now, especially as I've booked the week off, and am now going to Wales Ireland in Cardiff on the Saturday too

I'll mention the ammount because it's the dangers of antepost punting. That you should be well aware of when you place it

That's why I never understand people referring to horses as 'certainties'. And those backing horses like Buveur D'Air and Altior at ridiculous prices 9 weeks in advance must hate money. Apart from the fact they will almost certainly be longer on the day, absolutely anything could happen between now and then. That said, I do know that most on here are looking for long price angles and horses that will shorten.

Not a question I can definitively answer without knowing everyone that views the forum personally. Id assume going by many messages iv seen on Twitter that not everyone is aware, that antepost is not automatically a refund for a NR.
