Coney island Ryanair 60.0
Disko 30.0 gold cup
Been re watching races, I know Coney island goes for the Lexus but I'm pretty sure the Ryan air would be his best trip I don't think he wants 3m2 in the gold cup.

Disko I should have backed him earlier to be honest but it's still a fair price imo. Found a piece after punchestown where they were saying they made a mistake at Cheltenham and ran him on the wrong race. I must admit I fancied him for the rsa so I'd like to think he goes for the gold cup and with a decent chance at that

Trainer for Coney Island seems to want him to be a Gold Cup horse but wouldn't take much for him to turn up in the Ryanair if beaten in the Lexus.... and Disko is just a cracking horse. I would really fancy him in the Ryanair if they made the running, I think they got the ride wrong in the JLT but think he is Gold Cup bound. Like both of those bets in theory.

Coney Island for the Gold Cup all day long for me. Breeding alone he needs a trip (Flemensfirth out of a Milan mare). Second in a grade 1 Hurdle over three miles as a five year old screams a trip to me.

Has anyone heard anything about when the likes of Ballandy, Robin Roe and Barters Hill will be out??

From Olly Murphy's blog.....

Many of you have been asking about the well being of Robin Roe. His rehab is going well, he is back being hand walked and we will assess the situation early in the new year to whether he will get a run in the spring, or whether we wait till next autumn. We obviously all want to get him back on the track asap, but he will be given as much time as he needs and he won’t be rushed.

Brain power 190.0 jlt.
Just in case he dosent win tomorrow.

Bet for today :D

Either White Moon or On The Blind Side (2:30 Sandown) to win & Modus (2:40 Exeter) to win
11/8

Sceau royal jlt 110.0
Same reasons.
Will be plenty of future winners behind the winner tomorrow

Johnny Ward's column

Elliott is nursing the high-class Sutton Place back to health after he sustained an injury earlier this year. A hugely promising sort, he has not been seen since last April.

JP McManus’ racing manager Frank Berry told The Times: “I wouldn’t like to say when he might be back but we’ve had to be patient. He’ll go novice chasing.”

Sutton Place was one of the most touted young horses in Ireland before his setback. He is as low as 12-1 for the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, this a race the Irish could dominate.

Berry added that Great Field could return in spring. The brilliant chaser has not been seen this season and is a lively candidate for the Champion Chase.

Not outpaced today like LTO, Ballymore not out the question either I'd suggest?

Couldn't rule it out buy I'd be 95% sure AB was the target. Breeding, trainer comments, the way he won over 2m5f, trhe 'competition' in the BAllymore .... .all lean towards AB

**** Open mouth, insert foot*****

My 95% is now 5%..... Hendo saying he doesn't think they'll go up to 3m again!!!!

Ballymore.
Damalisque 220.0
Sharjah 100.0
Ok corral 230.0

That should be me done with the ballymore now. Got the first 3 in the betting well covered. And if the cap fits will slot in there in time. Anything else I can see winning I have at 3 figures. So touch wood should be all set.

Politiologue 14/1 Champion Chase.

I can see the 2m at Cheltenham playing to his strength. Good run tomorrow might see him shorten. Wouldn't be disappointed with him placing tomorrow and will be better on the spring ground.

Ok corral supreme 320.0

Watched him back. To be fair I only ever watched the yorkhill race where he looked like a trip would suit but to be fair he was facing yorkhill who showed real pace so it would have been some ask to go with him tearing away in a bumper. He ran a bit green but he obviously showed huge ability. He ran simular in his bumper before that beating the pacey high bridge over 2m which is solid form. Lost his novice hurdle status over 2 against some poor opposition going clear on the bit. Knowing henderson I'd be certain he goes over 2m next. So I think poss ballymore but hes a sure fire winner over 2m next time out. If they can keep him sound which may be a big ask in itself. He's a strong contender. He wouldn't have a too dis simular profile to moon racer last year.
But after losing his novice status if they keep him sound. He's a definite contender for a Cheltenham novice race Rather than pitching him up in a champion hurdle.

Gets a mention in NJH unibet blog Scooby, if you haven't seen it.

Also on that blog.... bad news for any Pym fans..... he's compared the horse to Jenkins :highly_amused:
