All of them are talking horses to be fair and 'could be anything'. If they did all turn up then the winner is going very short for this.

Farouk D’Alene is Gigginstown so you'd have to factor that into his chance of even turning up.

POP looks special, he covers the ground effortlessly has a high cruising speed and an electric turn of foot. Can't wait for Leopardstown, Happy Christmas to one and all.

Just checked the full decs and Willie has another live one called Ramillies. He was bought out of the Lacey yard and that’s proved popular for Willie of late.

Is that just from a video of his point win or is there some footage of him schooling please Chris

That video is of him schooling along with some other of the Mullins string at the Curragh.

would be hard to draw conclusions like hes special from that, they could be at different levels of fitness, carrying different weight etc. But his debut is awaited with interest.

The Ascot race tomorrow looks like being informative with regards the best of the British seen so far.

Agreed CK, usually the winner goes on to the Newbury Bumper in February and/or the Cheltenham Bumper.

Soaring Glory has looked very good so far, has a positive quote from his trainer on his ability, and would be my choice for tomorrow.
Interested in the opening prices.

2nd in the betting for the race tomorrow, Kid Commando, was giving him 3lbs last time and went off 5/4 fav - appreciate was beaten 4l - but should it really be nearly 3 times the price for the bumper? Not sure it should so covered accordingly

Time flies by going over hurdles tomorrow
Hopefully most of you got a chance to cash out

Nice performance from Israel Champ today giving weight away all around. Looks a relentless galloper and easy way of going - nothing complicated, just crack on and keep going. Already won at Cheltenham- what’s not to like!

Did not realise IC was 8/1 today, would have been all over that.

He’s 16s for the Bumper in March with some firms!

I cashed out when he drifted out to 8/1 today, what a fool I am. He drifted from 2nd fav quite quickly so assumed something was up, gutted

Israel Champ can expect to be set some lofty targets in the spring after giving trainer David Pipe back-to-back victories in the Isobel Championship Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race at Ascot.
Having struck 12 months ago with Eden Du Houx, the Pond House Stables handler saw the Listed prize head his way again, as the four-year-old successfully defied a penalty for his victory at the same level at Cheltenham last time out.
Prominently ridden throughout, the 8-1 chance showed an abundance of heart when required, to defeat the previously-unbeaten Soaring Glory by a length and three-quarters.
Pipe said: "He had a 4lb penalty, but he put up a good performance. We have always liked our fellow. He tends to do a little bit too much early on, but the hood helps him and hopefully he has got a bright future.
"The trainer got him beat at Worcester and like my school report said, 'could do better', but we learnt from that and sometimes you learn more from defeat than in victory and hopefully he is a nice one for the future.
"You have Newbury in February, Cheltenham in March and Punchestown. The owners wouldn't mind going for the Cheltenham bumper, but at the same time they are not obsessed, so we will see.
"Hopefully he will be around in three or four years' time."

David Pipe to win the Champion Bumper? Not for me

He's definitely on an upward curve though this year.

General pondering that he is a horse that won't be on the minds of people after Christmas so if anyone did like him his price may not get any shorter for quite a while yet.
