Nothing will beat the GDC/Bob Olinger Turners when we knew it would be 4 runners and the place element of e/w was first 3.

Don't know why I didn't go bigger on both Bussleton and the other horse! They even both came in!

The other horse was EL BARRA, available at 250/1 for the Marsh (as was) in the week before the festival as it was declared to run the Sunday before Cheltenham. It hacked up easily, and I think the 250/1 was still briefly there after there was some comment by trainer or connections suggesting they maybe still run in the Marsh jist 4 days later.

I was heavily invested in Bob (as well as the EL BARRA 250/1 e/w), so with Busselton overtaking EL BARRA for 3rd in the closing stages, both my bets were dead as they approached the last, and Galopin's fall at the last revived both bets from the fire and was my biggest result of the week. So, so lucky. Suspect a fair few on here were in the same boat...

I was in the same boat, the problem was that El Barra was that far back ITV didn't even show that he had finished or mention him finishing for awhile so I didn't know if he had fell, been pulled up or finished 🤣

….BET365 have boosted;

Golden Ace 7-1
L’eau du Sud 17/2
Jonbon 9-1
GDC 9-1
El Cairos 8-1
Kargese 11/2

….i’m sure there’ll be plenty of these next week;

PP; Free bet Tue, Weds & Thurs
Hills; 2 daily ‘Epic Boosts’ each day.

William hill preview night currently on. Doing a boost for each day, currently have lulamba at 3/1 and majborough 6/4. Not sure what stakes are like, Thursday and Fridays still to come

Are bookies deliberately avoiding specials/offers this year in response to the tax hike they got ?
It was only a few years ago shops were laying 6/4 shots at 2/1 for £2k (shops) as part of a daily Cheltenham countdown starting 2/3 weeks out, all seems very slow with no energy this year...
