Ballymore (Previously Neptune) Novice Hurdle 2018

Samcro matched at over evens on the exchange this morning, very weak.
Next Destination strong

Six day declarations.

Also, the RP love to report the sentence 'could have heavy in the description' in every single going update they post it seems.

And everyone runs to back Samcro in the Supreme and lay him in the Ballymore.

The RP are the worst for trying to make something more than it is. It won't be heavy. Samcro will run Ballymore.

Disclaimer: Please don't quote me on the above. :highly_amused:

New to the Forum! Please excuse me if this has been mentioned before... I noticed on the preview night page that this was quoted...
"Tony Mullins then went off on one of his many tangents whereby he said that Ruby said that Next Destination beats them all"
Just wondered what everyone thought about it?

ND has some blue for this on oddschecker, slightly shorter for spud

Welcome to the forum.

I haven't seen it but read it. I'd like you know the context of whether or not he was joking a bit of not

Even money is about right plus with the rain some people are hoping for the switch..

I now win more if he won the Supreme but all my good looking multiples have him in the Ballymore. Final decs tomorrow will be fascinating because they can't leave him in the Supreme and also enter him in the Ballymore.

tough call but I would say better than even money he'll go Ballymore, but if it carries on rain and somehow heavy all over I could see the switch..

But getabird will love it soft/heavy because of his action so they will still keep them apart IMO..

I really would not know whom to back if they didn't...

That word HEAVY. Seems to send the exchange into meltdown....

^^ Indeed, Samcro matched at 2.28 for this on the exchange currently.

"BREAKING: Gordon Elliott confirmed at a Preview night that Samcro could well run in the Supreme if the ground is heavy on the Tuesday" #CheltenhamCountdown

"I don't envisage the ground drying out considerably in time for Tuesday - we may shed the heavy in places depending on how much we get through the forecast showers, but I wouldn't see it reversing to good to soft."

Seem to remember the ill fated Neon Wolf last year going through a similar scenario. He then got beat anyway.... :devilish:

The switch will make your festival Scooby:encouragement:

The only crusher for me would be Samcro and Getabird in the same race. I still fancy Ok Corral for the Ballymore and he’s still 25s nrnb. Was scratched from the coral cup yesterday so should line up here or money back. Happy to take the plunge as if Samcro runs I would still fancy Ok Corral to go well... closely matched with Yorkhill, shown he retains all of his ability, went well on soft last time over the Ballymore trip

You need to listen to O'Leary not Elliott. Samcro only considered for the Supreme if the ground is 'brutally heavy'.
