Ballymore Novice Hurdle 2019

Henderson on Birchdale

The form of his win over course and distance on debut has worked out very well after Clarendon Street won at Wetherby but the horse I’m very worried about, however, is Tidal Flow who we have finished second to twice with Downtown Getaway and Before Midnight, but I do think Birchdale is better than those which does give me confidence. On homework, this is where gallop watching and comparisons would send most people to the poor house because this horse would slaughter Champ in a piece of work but look what he did in the Challow Hurdle and Rathill would probably be the more sharper of the three but look what he did in the Tolworth last week! On what I see at home Birchdale is definitely more of a 2m4f horse, but I may be wrong, as what they do at home can sometimes be completely different to what you see on the racecourse. That said, this horse has been improving all the way through and I’m very hopeful of a bold performance.

Plenty of superstars on the gallop. Much the same on the Golf Range. Time will tell.

Champ diddnt make himself fav. He's won a handicap and a reasonable looking challow

Geraghty came over from Ireland for the sole ride on birchdale in his novice. Makes sense now.

I think people need to read what he say's properly, especially how he starts the sentence. FFS

People will read what they want to see though.

I’d have champ over the other two all day every day on the evidence seen so far.

A decent enough handicap despite looking very very green and in style. And then a grade 1.

Fully concur. People are naturally inclined to interpret information through the prism of what they already believe in, and are likely to ignore what they do not want to hear.

Only idiots would read the bit in bold and lump on.

Geraghty on birchdale.

I was impressed with his win over this course and distance last month and the form has been working out well with the second and third having won since. Being dropped in and covered up at a track like Warwick will have taught him plenty.*

He ran down the last a bit and only did as much as he had to do. That experience should bring him on a nice bit. Nicky has been very happy with his work since.*

He’s a lovely staying chasing type, but the fact that Nicky considered running him in the Tolworth Novices’ Hurdle over two miles tells you that he thinks he has gears too.*

This looks a solid race and*Tidal Flow*looks to be his biggest danger, but I’d be hopeful that Birchdale can be bang there.

Brain power works with Altior.

Birchdale works with buveur dair. And style de vole (impressive flat winner who can't jump)

I know that scooby. It was a joke. We all know how deceptive home work can be.
