Ballymore Novice Hurdle 2019

Mullins novice hurdlers - Allaho, Aramon, Easy Game, Klassical Dream, Relegate. Not the biggest team, in particular we are missing most of the bumper crop. I'm now more confident on the chances of KD coming here.

My early predictions:
Supreme - Aramon 1st string
Ballymore - Klassical Dream 1st string, Easy Game 2nd
Albert Bartlett - Allaho 1st string, Relegate 2nd

Also Elfie who I don't know much about, presumably 2nd string

Updated with quotes

AramonHe will go for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle. He has kept coming forward all season and has surprised me with how far he has come. He was only just touched off by Klassical Dream at the Dublin Racing Festival, so he’ll go there with his chance.

Easy GameIt looks like he’ll go for the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle. We freshened him up after his last season as he has been busy through the summer and he seems in good order now.

Klassical DreamHe’s going to be a tricky one to make a decision on, as he could go for either the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle or the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle. He’s a very good jumper will a lot of experience, but I think ultimately he’ll want to go further than two miles. He has always shown us plenty and I think he will improve again.

RelegateWe are looking at the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle with her. I was very disappointed with her last run at Leopardstown. Maybe the ground wasn’t soft enough for her, but she’ll need to do much more than that to compete at Cheltenham again. Hopefully she’ll come alive when she gets back there.

It's always guesswork with WPM, but I've backed KD antepost here, there is no way Easy Game goes to the Ballymore as his No#1

I think Relegate is interesting in the AB, but I don't think any of the others are good enough, in whichever race they run in.
I'd give Klassical dream a chance in the supreme, but not so much in the ballymore. As I'd have wanted him to stay on stronger against Aramon the last time.
Don't get me wrong, you can't rule any of them out as it's Willie, but my instinct (and the form) tells me they're not the best batch we've seen

I think you're probably right in that this is a weak batch. Something still tells me one of those is going very close.

....apparently Elliott is reported as saying that this is the target for Galvin. The 50-1 with Tote/BF might be worth the risk without nrnb concession.

Anyone know anything about Galvin trained by Elliot? In the G1 Novice hurdles and the handicaps. Shaped lto like a step upt to 2.5m would be ideal. Could be an interesting contender

Been mentioned recently if you read back through my friend

Any whispers if Battleoverdoyen will be going for this ?

Yeah, Elliot confirmed he goes straight here when ruled out at the DRF.

He also said Apple''s Jade would be in the race easiest to win and would be in Mares (poss Stayers).

.... but yeah BOD is coming here ...

Henderson has said a couple of times he's known to change his mind late regarding targets so I wouldn't cash out just yet.

You should cash it, because if he does run here he won't beat Champ (nothing will). :devilish:

:highly_amused:

In seriousness, think NH has said Birchdale is going for the AB, but as Kev has mentioned, he is prone to change his mind!

I might just keep it then for a little but longer, I just wasnt sure when the next declarations are and they take them out of the betting......bet365 are very quick as of late.
