Ballymore Novice Hurdle 2019

Angel’s Breath (Nico De Boinville)

He’s a nice looking son of Shantou who won his Irish Point to Point very impressively in April and he’s a horse we think an awful lot of. He will love the ground and is pretty forward so I’d be quite hopeful of a bold show.

Already taken 33s ew supreme.

Iv taken the 33s ballymore aswell win only. Aslong as he dosen't bomb. Should be fine.

I don't rate the fav so anything other than a good win and ill be cashing.

Took the 5/2 with B365,
and the 14s on smaoineamh allain in the 1-20

both overpriced I think

Well done, i was too slow on the 5/2. Ill leave it be at what he is now.

nice performance from Birchdale today. Travelled really well. A bit scruffy over a few of the hurdles. We'll get a better idea when he takes on some better horses.

Did he look like a stayer or enough pace for this?

Birchdale is a big horse. Travelled so well.

Downtown Getaway entered at Newbury on Wednesday.

Plenty of pace. Travelled lovely. Impressive how he opened up and put distance between them.

I was very impressed.

JP has got some bullets for this then

Toby Laws assistant trainer said he wouldn't want to go back in trip with Birchdale, so your bet looks ok for this Scooby!

Yeah it would be strange for Henderson to go in reverse. He normally starts short and ups them after debut.

I was very impressed with him. Time will tell what he beat, but looked a good race to me, and was much the best.

He was the best in the race no doubt but his 2nd was also quite eyecatching, travelling well, maybe a bit keen...found a good bit of trouble when push came to shove + jumped sketchy...one not to give up on (probably not a Birchdale ofc)

Been to the pub and had 6 Moretti"s, never thought he'd open at 5/2 !!! to be fair i cant bet with 365 now so probably better sticking with the Italian lager! I cud see him going off odds on!

That's nice lager Billy but bloody strong! It's my works party tomorrow so I'm having a few tonight to prepare myself. Amstel and Gin (not in the same glass).:very_drunk:

Gin? Is your wife going then?

Gin seems to have become a thing, and loads of my mates have started hammering flavoured Gin lately.

I don't go out drinking anymore, so only know through my PT telling me that they normally wallop a bottle most weekends.
