August ‘24 Yankee

I'd actually go back on what I said this morning and wouldnt be against putting 1 up for the Triumph now, the likelihood is the price will only go one way but it is the obvious caveat that only Sky, PP/BF and Uni have it priced but Willy de Houelle @ 16s and you'll be somewhere close

Who owns him?

After the Marine National write up any love for the yankee?

….just read it and thought I’d better get him in my book whilst 14-1 Champion Chase is there. Obvious risk coming back after injury but it’s a wide open market, the target seems definite so may the force be with you.

Please keep these Yankees going. I love all the opinions from the fat jockeys. All the insight and knowledge. I follow in each month and also stick one of my own.
what’s the feeling on a Cheltenham November meeting Yankee?
spectre?

Have read though this many times but have come up with 4 horses for the yankee Just in case Middle_Of_March is a no show. Am i at work from tomorrow (29th,30th,31st,1st) so would hope to get it on here at the weekend. Would like to sum up by saying early season picks for the final 4 horses is so hard as nothing really to go on.

With Des indicating Corbett's Cross may stick to 2 1/2 -3 miles this season and with Mullins saying both FTF and IAM will be aimed at the Gold Cup, IMO JP will target the Ryanair with CC. He has both speed and stamina and falls in that bracket of just being under top class so the Ryanair looks a perfect race for him and gives JP a chance of another big pot by splitting his best chasers.

Willy de Houelle is 12s best now with PP/BF/Sky/Uni

Its probably now or never with him as an ante prospect

His owner could well be publicly confirmed in the HRI reg's tomorrow, and that 12s will likely become 10s best.

The days of getting 33/1 about the Triumph winner is over now.......:apologetic:

He was 33s for about 45mins :glee:

You can still get 33s for Murcia too.. I'd be taking that if you haven't already :boxing: Mullins/Kenny Alexander

Dream team

If WDH is JP's then that's the Triumph done

Salvator Mundi - Supreme (would have been KDB but he may stay in bumpers)
The Enabler - Albert Bartlett
Big Willy - Triumph

Plus one other.

I'd agree with the Mundi and Willy shouts

What about one of the french imports that could end up in the mares novice?
- Kom tu Voudras
- Venusienne
- Manon
- Kientzheim

With the price of Willy De Houelle taking a hair cut today and not knowing if Middle_Of_March will show my picks were to be.....
Marine National CC
Caldwell Potter Turners
Willy De Houelle Triumph
Sounds Victorius Spuds.

Manon is the only one on my list but that's not a negative to the others. She's been at Willie's for a year to acclimatize so should be hitting the track this season if fit and well.
