Just some info which readers may wish to know. Footpad bled after a piece of work this morning, he seems okay but the Vet will be checking him over on Monday morning and scoping him. He worked okay, but connections are worried slightly as he has never bled before.

Somebody just took about 60 at around 12.5 anyway and another 50 was down at 11.5 but was taken away again. If people knew he was going JLT the 11.0 & 9.8 would be snapped up soon. Iv my eyes peeled and mouse at the ready anyway. Betvictor were 7/1 NRNB too but went to 6/1

i think punters have seen it drift for arkle then without having any info have thought willie has decided to go JLT and are backing it nrnb

I think Chris Cook who has received a tweet from Mullins saying Arkle as far as we're concerned carries more weight than this rumour.

I'm not worried.

It’s either true or not, plausible doesn’t come into it. Doesn’t take much to move markets so could be knock on effect from that news on his betting group and connections. If it’s not true then it’s desperately sad that people make such stuff up

Mullins quote worries me slightly. Munir might have had a late change of heart. The pace that Saint Calvados goes might set the Arkle up perfectly for Sceau Royal and Munir and Souede may think they can win both Arkle and JLT

There are two things going on here....

1 saying he's bled and won't be running

The other saying he's going for the JLT

I never lay Scooby and I’ve got Footpad in lots of bets. Plus he more than likely will still make it anyway. If you read the clip it says he seems ok this morning.
