The Emitom angle for this race looks to be gone, with WG pretty clear he thinks the intermediate trip is his trip for now.

Ignoring Champ (only quoted 5/1 NRNB)

It's 14/1 the field, with that being Battleoverdoyen who probably goes Ballymore.

Yeah, crazy.

You'd think with it being more experienced horses that run it, nothing "unexposed", we've all got more form to go on.

Doesn't work out that way.... as the 'better' horses, are unexposed and run over shorter or are being minded for chasing.

Maybe crazy isn't the right adjective, but it's interesting.
 
Rockpoint, Carefully Selected, Champ ;), Derrinross, Sams Profile, yeah plenty of them with 5+ career runs already, probably more, only just started looking tbh.

I've taken 10's with Bet365 for Champ, obviously not NRNB, but for some reason it isn't coming up on Oddschecker that they have it available. I'll take the hit, but went with my gut on him.
 
Derrinross is a big player! 2nd season over hurdles & that Limerick race is usually a good pointer towards this.
 
Kateson has had 8 career runs too, a wild price still at 33/1?

I think Derrinross has the best form on offer thus far. Would you be worried that its a soft ground horse??

Would easy game not have the superior form? Beat the same horse further and powered home in a better field (grade 2)
 
Easy Game won a slow race with a turn of foot. Visually it looked like a strong staying performance but it was more a run that showed he has class. That run screamed Ballymore to me.

We shall see. He side stepped the main ballymore trial lawlors hotel. He's priced as if it's the bartlett. Imo all his form screams Albert bartlett. Id be confident enough it will be the Albert bartlett
 
I like the look of Dinons for this ticks the box of plenty of experience, has some course form, on a line through de name evades me has stronger form than rockpoint. His last run can be ignored as he was brought to a stand still and not ridden out after. 33-1 is a big price imo.
