Entries are in & markets formed for the two other races over the National fences.

Foxhunters - not sure if any of the Irish will come over, thrown a few early darts at Dashing Perk (Newlands) & Federici (McCain). Dineur did me a big favour a few years ago, so can’t resist an interest in More Bucks @ 100-1 for Mickey Bowen.

Topham - Henderson has a decent record, so early play is Morning Vicar.

Fancy Modus in the top ham having been put away since his third in the Sefton, the experience and back on a better surface should help him a lot for this race.

My attempted Trixie
Sametagal 7/1 - not sure who will ride but he'll give them a great spin over the fences.

Caribbean Boy 20/1 - ran an cracker in the Plate off a big weight, staying in nicely up the hill. Hendo is great at targeting the race and CB has a bit of class. The trip might be slightly on the short side though.

Discrorama 33/1 (NRNB) - enough has been said about him.

....Huntsman Son could be interesting in the Topham. Finished ahead of Caribean Boy at Cheltenham & is available @ 33-1 with 365 (which is a stand out given it’s as low as 16-1 with PP & Sky).

Afternoon all

Whilst unoriginal - I do fancy Livelaughlove for the Topham. That said I am on at 14s (placed bet before I joined the forum - apologies if comes across as an after timed comment) and now into 8s generally.

Mullins said that the Topham was the intention, but of course this is Willie we're dealing with so might not show up but fingers crossed.

I just thought the run at Leopardstown at beginning of the month was the perfect prep run for this when not quite making it home and getting chinned on the line by Mitchouka and certainly got the feeling that he wouldn't be caught at Aintree. His experience in the national over the fences back in 2019 will also hopefully put him in good stead.

I also like the look of Discorama for the National as mentioned by several on here. I am already on Lord du Mesnil at 66/1 but am a tad concerned on the ground front, feels like will need the heavens to open somewhat for that to land which looks unlikely, but as well as the single on Livelovelaugh - have done an EW double with Discorama today at 233/1 (taken the 25s NRNB price about Discorama)

Best of luck whatever you're on.

I’ve got an aintree Trixie with a couple out of these races....

Bob And Co 13/2
Morning Vicar 20/1
Burrows Saint 14/1
