I love your confidence in Mister Fisher, Sametegal and On The Slopes....you’ve tempted me :applouse:

Start of the week the plan was to leave today alone but from reading the posts for the last few days, that plan was never going to last

2.50 Waiting Patiently
3.25 Brewin upastorm
4.05 Dashing Perk
4.40 Grey Diamond

Stuck Clondaw Castle in a double with Grey Diamond as well.

The small ‘p’ is for places TKP, no stakes divulged here though I will say Billaway carries more of my money today than any Hunter in my life...

But for that lump (some my remember back in 2018) I had on Burning Ambition for Cheltenham, I suspect today is also my biggest bet on a hunters Chase too. Obviously it is nowhere near that BA bet (to think I napped him for the week too - what a tit!).

Edit - My Hunter today is also Billaway today fwiw

Pretty big betting day for me today with 3 rather larger bets than usual.

- The 14/1 each way play on MOG
- My NAP of the day in Adagio at 9/4 & a smaller bit at 11/4
- Billaway at 3/1. He will likely win or not get round imo.

Day 1 Bets:
1:45 - Fusil Raffles @ 3/1
2:20 - Adagio @ 9/4 & 11/4 2:50 - Waiting Patiently @ 4/1
3:25 - Song For Someone @ 12/1 E/W (4 places)
- Mcfabulous @ 6/1 E/W (4 places)
4:05 - Billaway @ 3/1
4:40 - Moon Over Germany @ 14/1 E/W (4 places)
- Zanza @ 10/1 E/W (6 places)
5:15 - Eileendover @ Evens

All reasoning are made in my preview if you want to give it a read. Can be found in this Grand National section.

Eldorado Allen 7/1 E/W
Monmiral 11/10
Waiting Patiently 9/2 E/W
Buveur D'Air 10/1 E/W
Cat Tiger 4/1
Zanza 11/1 & Moon Over Germany 17/2
Eileendover EVS

For me today, all small stakes. Played a small multiple too.

I get the argument with billaway but his jumping would worry me

especially at what will be a strong pace over a shorter trip

Haven't backed every race but have backed these:

The Shunter
Adagio
Native River (Heart over head)
Abacadabras
Billaway

Another fantastic day of racing good luck fellas!

I've had a crack at the placepot. Umbrigado and Hitman in the first so it might be short lived:biggrin-new:

Gone with these today:

1.45 Hitman
2.20 Monmiral
3.25 Mcfabulous
4.05 Billaway
4.40 Gaelik coast e/w

Good luck all

Manifesto Novices Chase:
Selection: Fusil Raffles
Value: Eldorado Allen

Despite Envoi's fall I think the Marsh form will turn out to be good and Chantry House and Fusil Raffles are two horses with promising futures
I know EA has no form over the distance but he stayed on well at Cheltenham and is classy.

It will be interesting to see how a level stake on Irish horses works out this week,

Edit:
1 Protektorat 17/2
2 The Shunter 7/2
3 Hitman 100/30

A drastic return to form for the winner

Good ride from Harry Skelton that

Backers of shan blue at Cheltenham must have a wry smile

The Shunter must have some engine to finish second despite hitting pretty much every fence

Hope fusil raffles is ok after that shuddering mistake

Any updates on Fusil, always worrying when you see a horse pulled up like that

He'd be some horse if he could jump.

The Shunter was hard to watch. If he could jump he'd have pissed that. Needs to go Henrietta Knights

Any word from the jockeys after the first on how the ground is riding?

Doom Bar juvenile hurdle:
Selection: Adagio
Value: Fiveandtwenty

Northern trainers target Aintree as their Cheltenham especially McCain

Edit:
1 Monmiral 10/11
2 Adagio 13/8
3 Fiveandtwenty 12/1

Scu looked confident until that last fence blunder - over confident?
