Disgusted but not surprised. This is just an extension of the abuse jockeys regularly receive on Twitter and up and down the shoot.

I can't remember walking past a weighing room and not seeing a guard/steward so unless their shift finishes as they past the post in the last I'm surprised how easily they were able to enter the weighing room, I fully expect this to lead to a full review of jockey security with immediate improvements.

Sadly people will always have one too many when racing, I do, but there are scum in every walk of life and those who are unable to control the emotions attached to losing a few quid are better off staying at home and upsetting no-one but themselves, racing doesn't need them....

exactly. i like to have now too many myself but doesn't give the right to verbally or physically abuse anyone. It's sad if security is needed. Jockeys must be among most accessible of sportsmen. A determined fan can almost be guaranteed to get a selfie and can't think of many other sports where that would happen.
